"eyewitness news" reporter steve paterson live outside st. christopher's hospital where the young victim was flown. this is a difficult one to get through, steve good morning. >> reporter: this is a very developing story a as we have been mentioning, details still coming into our news room still awaiting more information from police but what we can tell you at this point is that yes police are telling us a young infant was doused in a flammable substance and set on fire last night. we could show you video from the scene now this is simon town road in pemberton, new jersey. in the video showing investigators on the scene, early this morning. the sources telling cbs-3 that at some point late last night shortly around 11:00 o'clock neighbors witnessed the infant's young mother screaming douse ago this child and setting it on fire. the the the child then flown to st. christopher's with second and third degree burns on 100 percent of his body. they were able to extinguish that fire and get that child some help. the child is here at st. christopher's. we are not sure on the the status or what the investigation will reveal as far as criminal charges but police are still working the the scene, again, very developing story, and we will be here all morning long to follow it and bring you the very latest. we are live at st. christopher's, steve paterson for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". there are just no words, steve, thank you. a 16 year-old is under a arrest this morning accused of stabbing another teen to death. it happened at forty-sixth and market street friday afternoon. police say an argument that beast again during lunch at west philadelphia high school spilled in the after hours. now the teen victim was rushed to children's hospital but succumbed to his wound. now for the the latest on the drug bust gone bad, police opened fire on a suspect they say tried to run down an officer to avoid an arrest. the it was a close call on 69th street in delaware county. "eyewitness news" reporter diana rocco has details now from upper darby. the. >> reporter: a philadelphia man is in jail after trying to run down an upper darby police officer on 69th street on friday afternoon. the female officer pulled her gun. >> she fires one shot at the vehicle. the shot enters through the window of the vehicle and the vehicle then knocks over two or three parking meters, and we had them boxed in we thought but he drove right up on the sidewalk. >> reporter: police were conducting a raid on the suspect who sold drugs to under cover on four separate occasions. he got away jumping this his car and ramming front door of the furniture store and then gunning for the officer. police pulled him out of the car where the window was shot the out inside, bundles of heroin and semiautomatic weapons. on the suspect they found thousands of heroin and crack. >> we have loaded dope, we have a four buys gun, he will be in jail a long time. >> reporter: neither officer or suspect were injured in the incident. the suspect is in custody at this hour and he will be likely charged with attempted murder and other drug related offenses. in upper darby, i'm diana rocco for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". we are learning new details about a temple university student who fell from a window this her death. victim is 18 year-old rebecca kim. the authorities say she was visiting two male students at a art institute philadelphia dorm near 16th and chestnut when she fell from april 8 story window. kim was a freshman pharmacy student. >> she was nice. she was sweet very local helpful, always smiling. she was real popular person. >> i could see her having a really good future. she seemed like a smart girl overall, a nice person. it is so sad to hear that happened. >> just terrible. kim felon top of the 44 year-old woman as well that woman suffered neck and back injuries and lost some teeth the but is expect to recover. history is made all over again, late joe paterno once again stand as college football's winningest coach after the ncaa strikes a deal on the university's sanctions. students at penn state of course, gathering in front of the old main celebrating this. this picture that you see on the screen posted on twitter by onward state, shows a crowd, they were chanting 409 and joe pa paterno. of flammable liquid and then lit on fire and it is possibly coming from a family member. i want to tell you video of the scene that we have gathered overnight, we will take to you pemberton, new jersey. this is simontown road, there you can see investigators there early this morning and throughout the night. sources are telling cbs-3 the worst news shortly after 11:00 last night neighbors witnessed the infant's young mother in her 20's as they say she was screaming dousing that child in some sort of a flammable liquid and then setting that child on fire. the child was flown to st. christopher's hospital with second and third degree burns over 100 percent of his body. they were able to put the flames out on that child and hopefully get the child some help although, we are not sure of his status. the at this point we are awaiting more word from hospital officials as well as a possible criminal investigation in this case. the developing details on this story but we're here trenton bound river line train slams into a car in riverside, burlington county. daunte shot this eyewitness cam video on chester avenue crossing with his cell phone. excuse me. three of the injured were in the car at the time. other injured person was on the train. the extent of their injuries is unknown. well, take a look at this frightening scene in delaware county an 86 year-old woman's foot slipped off the brakes crashing her car through the side of the ymca. eyewitness michelle krause snapped this photo of the car snapped inches from the pool. driver had left the building. she was shaken but unhurt. it appears in charges were filed and the pool area will be closed as repairs are made. police released surveillance video of the man that they say shot and killed a woman waiting for a bus in north philadelphia. take a close look here. you can see still unidentified kill's approaching and ambushing that victim. fifty-six year-old kim jones. it happened tuesday morning. after shooting jones once in the head he got on to a northbound subway train exiting at the hunting park station. investigators say the killer carefully covered his face even lowering his head as he passed "eyewitness news" reporter steve paterson live outside st. christopher's hospital where the young victim was flown. this is a difficult one to get through, steve good morning. >> reporter: this is a very developing story a as we have been mentioning, details still coming into our news room still awaiting more information from police but what we can tell you at this point is that yes police are telling us a young infant was doused in a flammable substance and set on fire last night. we could show you video from the scene now this is simon town road in pemberton, new jersey. in the video showing investigators on the scene, early this morning. the sources telling cbs-3 that at some point late last night shortly around 11:00 o'clock neighbors witnessed the infant's young mother screaming douse ago this child and setting it on fire. the the the child then flown to st. christopher's with second and third degree burns on 100 percent of his body. they were able to extinguish that fire and get that child some help. the child is here at st. christopher's. we are not sure on the the status or what the investigation will reveal as far as criminal charges but police are still working the the scene, again, very developing story, and we will be here all morning long to follow it and bring you the very latest. we are live at st. christopher's, steve paterson for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". there are just no words, steve, thank you. a 16 year-old is under a arrest this morning accused of stabbing another teen to death. it happened at forty-sixth and market street friday afternoon. police say an argument that beast again during lunch at west philadelphia high school spilled in the after hours. now the teen victim was rushed to children's hospital but succumbed to his wound. now for the the latest on the drug bust gone bad, police opened fire on a suspect they say tried to run down an officer to avoid an arrest. the it was a close call on 69th street in delaware county. "eyewitness news" reporter diana rocco has details now from upper darby. the. >> reporter: a philadelphia man is in jail after trying to run down an upper darby police officer on 69th street on friday afternoon. the female officer pulled her gun. >> she fires one shot at the vehicle. the shot enters through the window of the vehicle and the vehicle then knocks over two or three parking meters, and we had them boxed in we thought but he drove right up on the sidewalk. >> reporter: police were conducting a raid on the suspect who sold drugs to under cover on four separate occasions. he got away jumping this his car and ramming front door of the furniture store and then gunning for the officer. police pulled him out of the car where the window was shot the out inside, bundles of heroin and semiautomatic weapons. on the suspect they found thousands of heroin and crack. >> we have loaded dope, we have a four buys gun, he will be in jail a long time. >> reporter: neither officer or suspect were injured in the incident. the suspect is in custody at this hour and he will be likely charged with attempted murder and other drug related offenses. in upper darby, i'm diana rocco for cbs-3 "eyewitness news". we are learning new details about a temple university student who fell from a window this her death. victim is 18 year-old rebecca kim. the authorities say she was visiting two male students at a art institute philadelphia dorm near 16th and chestnut when she fell from april 8 story window. kim was a freshman pharmacy student. >> she was nice. she was sweet very local helpful, always smiling. she was real popular person. >> i could see her having a really good future. she seemed like a smart girl overall, a nice person. it is so sad to hear that happened. >> just terrible. kim felon top of the 44 year-old woman as well that woman suffered neck and back injuries and lost some teeth the but is expect to recover. history is made all over again, late joe paterno once again stand as college football's winningest coach after the ncaa strikes a deal on the university's sanctions. students at penn state of course, gathering in front of the old main celebrating this. this picture that you see on the screen posted on twitter by onward state, shows a crowd, they were chanting 409 and joe pa paterno. steve paterson is live outside st. christopher's hospital for children where we are working to learn more about that child's condition. it is unspeakable unthinkable, what can you you tell us. >> reporter: unbelievable, nicole. details are still developing in this. we are waiting on more word from police. what we toe no is what you have said already that a infant child was doused in some sort of flammable liquid and then lit on fire and it is possibly coming from a family member. i want to tell you video of the scene that we have gathered overnight, we will take to you pemberton, new jersey. this is simontown road, there you can see investigators there early this morning and throughout the night. sources are telling cbs-3 the worst news shortly after 11:00 last night neighbors witnessed the infant's young mother in her 20's as they say she was screaming dousing that child in some sort of a flammable liquid and then setting that child on fire. the child was flown to st. christopher's hospital with second and third degree burns over 100 percent of his body. they were able to put the flames out on that child and hopefully get the child some help although, we are not sure of his status. the at this point we are awaiting more word from hospital officials as well as a possible criminal investigation in this case. the developing details on this story but we're here trenton bound river line train slams into a car in riverside, burlington county. daunte shot this eyewitness cam video on chester avenue crossing with his cell phone. excuse me. three of the injured were in the car at the time. other injured person was on the train. the extent of their injuries is unknown. well, take a look at this frightening scene in delaware county an 86 year-old woman's foot slipped off the brakes crashing her car through the side of the ymca. eyewitness michelle krause snapped this photo of the car snapped inches from the pool. driver had left the building. she was shaken but unhurt. it appears in charges were filed and the pool area will be closed as repairs are made. police released surveillance video of the man that they say shot and killed a woman waiting for a bus in north philadelphia. take a close look here. you can see still unidentified kill's approaching and ambushing that victim. fifty-six year-old kim jones. it happened tuesday morning. after shooting jones once in the head he got on to a northbound subway train exiting at the hunting park station. investigators say the killer carefully covered his face even lowering his head as he passed new developments in the scandal surrounding the comedian bill cosby. his attorney says that cosby was not at the the playboy mansion on the night a model accused him of drugging and sexually abusing her. cosby's attorney says he was in new york that night. woman net with police wednesday telling them that the alleged incident happened in august of 2008. more than 15 women have have accused cosby expect out the of this as well but the temperatures also coming up. we should find them later on in the a afternoon getting into the 40's which will be okay, because it is not you won't be shoveling this. if you love snow you are thinking it is not okay if you don't love snow or shoveling you will probably be just fine with the precipitation that we get tomorrow. by monday it is gone. temperatures will be in the 30's. it will be a windy day, blustery cold day on monday. the let's time this out. this is perhaps your favorite graphic. i know it is mine. we are looking at computer
