About six thousand were asked to leave by sunday night before the cedar river crested. The city said people can start moving back tomorrow at noon. It took 48 hours to put up the ten miles of hesco barriers. The city wants everyone to be patient because it will take time to take it all down. Some barriers are already being taken apart. We might not know the answer for some time, but we do know fema is in town today looking at the flood damage. About 150 homes took on water.
