and waters where a wave flipped a 3' fishing boat with five people aboard. >> they pulled four unresponsive people out of water and identified one person that was responsive on bodega rock itself. >> reporter: that same helicopter dropped a deputy on a 100' line to the rock to grab the strand man. and together they dangled in midair. flown to safety. >> he was very confused, hyperthermic and we basically got him warned up and to the hospital l. that only survivor in jeans and t-shirt no life jacket is identified as 66-year- old phillip sanchez of bodega bay. the wreck killed the boat owner, 79-year-old jessie lang lye and samuel garcia, 86 both men from bogga bay and 66-year- old costa from san joaquin valley. a fourth victim, a woman has not been publicly identified. so close to shore of a hit-and-run crash in san francisco. it happened on 3rd street and cargo way east of 280 in the city's india basin district. police just told us that at 9:30 tonight about 45 minutes ago, a vehicle struck a pedestrian and fled the scene. there is no description available yet of the driver. the vehicle may have been white in color, investigators are there, and we'll update you as soon as we get more information on the person who was struck by that vehicle. well, iraqi kurdish fighters were welcomed by weary kurds fighting the extremists in the border-town of kobani. the arrival of the iraqi fighters marked the first time that turki has aloud ground troops from outside of syria to join the synare peshmerga fighters and hopes that the reinforcements and their heavy weapons could tip mudslide heavy rains saturated the area last night three hours before the slide happened. one man was trapped inside a house, but he was later found safe. there have been no reports of anyone else being trapped. that area where the mudslide happened had been devastated by a wildfire back in 2013. officials say that could have played a role in the slide because there simply was not enough lot by the explosion. >> it's like a bomb went off. >> reporter: the blast at the sunnyvale avenue complex turned into a big fire as you see in this cell phone video. >> the windows rattled for a good 20 seconds after it hit and crept out to find a car sitting on my couch and there was nothing. >> fire investigators confirmed it was a butane explosion caused by the manufacturing of hash oil, which can collect throughout an enclosed space as it did yesterday. >> it not only destroyed the unitses there, but there is damage in 200' of the connections. >> reporter: the ignition source could have been simple as a static spark from walk on carpet. during the fire you could hear butane cans exploding. two people in the unit where the explosion happened are severely burn and still in critical condition. >> scary. >> just imagine if this powerful explosion happened hours later while families were out trick-or-treating. >> some adjacent residents were aloud back into their homes to pull out
