They describe it to be a newer silver sedan. He was leaving a pickup game in june when he was in a minor accident off oakland. After that accident, shortly before 11 00 that night with both cars pulled over to the side, aya and another vehicle got into an argument. Police believe one man in the other car shot and killed him and drive off. He was loved by so many people and the family hopes this photo is one piece of evidence leading to an arrest. We know there was a silver car because there was damage between the victims vehicle and there was damage. We believe theres frontend damage on the suspect vehicle. Well, police this happened here in a strip mall where there is a pizza parlor, a hair salon and dance studio. Workers came out here and found the woman on the ground. She just left the dance studio behind me. They say her face was swollen. It was red and she was crying. This police say this was a random attack. It happened on monday afternoon. A woman had just dropped off her daughter at the dance studio on blossom hill and harwood, was walking back to her car when a man approached her and punched her in the face. Sheet fell to the ground and witnesses report the suspect running away towards harwood. Investigators say this sounds similar to a phenomenon happening across the country where assailants are doing this purely for amusement. Sometimes its videotaped. The police are looking to see if this fits some of the motive. But current we dont have a motive for this. This was an unprovoked attack as far as we can tell so far. Reporter police say no words were exchanged between the victim or the suspect. They searched the area for Surveillance Video but couldnt find any. Two people are hospitalized and a family of seven has been displaced by a house fire in the south bay this morning. San jose fire crews arrived at the home on palmira way around 10 30 a. M. We as an organization decided that the surge in crime in the city was at an unacceptable level and we decided to put together a plan to try to reduce the crime. Reporter that plan is called Operation Safe net. The Vallejo Department is short staffed and hiring has been slow. So the money already set aside for fulltime officers is now being used for overtime. Officers are being asked to work before shift, after shifts and on their days off. They are part of teams that saturate neighborhoods and it looks like its working. In the span of 18 hours, the ten officers working netted 32 arrests, about 99 citations, and dozens and dozens of contacts. Reporter among those arrested, 12 people accused of breaking into holen Junior High School school. Police say when the officers surrounded the campus, officers on patrol had in problem getting those suspects into custody.
