>> reporter: could president trump get a second bite at the apple? there is speculation and there is speculation that justice anthony kennedy could use this last day to make a major announcement. >> reporter: as the cameras clicked away for their class photo earlier this month, there was justice anthony kennedy looking for a chat with his fellow justices but he -- does he know something we don't. is he stepping down? speculation is swirling. the administration faces questions about the possibility of another court vacancy but counsel to the president, killian conway, doesn't say much. >> does he say anything about his retirement plans? that i will never reveal a conversation between a city justice and the white house that we are paying close attention to these last-minute decisions. >> reporter: he has been on the court for almost 30 years and is often the swinging boat making his opinion critical. if he steps down, president trump will get to make a lasting imprint after already selecting neil gorsuch's shortly after taking -- neil gorsuch shortly after taking office. on the other hand, kennedy could easily stick around. either way, the other big news maybe his decision on the presidents controversial temporary travel ban targeting half a dozen muslim countries. with the administration asking the high court to overturn lower court decisions to put that on hold. a newly installed justice, neil gorsuch, could pay those could play a pivotal role. this morning, the supreme court has agreed to hear an appeal from the owner of the colorado bakery who refused to make a wedding cake for a same- sex couple. back in 2012, jack's phillips told a gay couple he would not make their wedding cake because of his religious beliefs. the couple filed a discrimination complaint and the colorado court ruled against phillips. he petitioned the supreme court to take the case saying the ruling violated his freedom of speech. the case will be heard in the fall. our time is 7:05. here at home, and warehouse workers made a discovery that may help solve a missing person's case. they called hayward police after finding human remains. christian captain is at the warehouse in hayward. you have been out there for a couple of hours this morning. what is the latest on the investigation? >> reporter: a man who has identified himself as the owner of the warehouse has confirmed this is the location where the remains were found over the weekend and also confirmed to me that this is the location that the person of interest in this case worked, as well. workers at this warehouse say there was a strong smell of the weekend and investigated on their own. they called police on saturday when they discovered plastic bags that appear to contain body parts. the remains are suspected to be those of a driver of uber. the san francisco coroner's office will need to use dna testing to determine. he disappeared in may after telling friends he was going to help a 48-year-old. >> it is possibly a significant break. we are looking for a missing person and we don't know of any other missing person that is tied to mr. tang. >> reporter: police in san francisco have been trying to track him down to talk about the up -- the disappearance but he has also disappeared. investigators believe he has fled the country and is in cambodia. the gentleman who describes himself as the owner of this warehouse says this is where mr. tang worked. meanwhile, investigators are working to positively identify those remains. the latest we have from san francisco investigators is that there is no timeline on how long that will take. >> thank you. the san francisco police officer for minor injuries last night trying to break up a big fight that happened inside the westfield mall. >> [ screaming ] >> this was the scene inside the mall minutes after police rushed in at about 6:45 last night. several fights broke out. this video shows how chaotic the situation was. it is not clear what started the pipe. police closed down the mall to control the situation. a number of people were detained and the san francisco chronicle is reporting one juvenile was arrested. one program director for the boys and girls club is due to enter a plea in court on child endangerment charges. the 22-year-old, benjamin, was arrested in april after being accused of posting photos of a six-year-old girl from his afterschool program in a chat room where users share child pornography. he also posted the girls name my phone number and home address . the department of homeland security tracked him through his internet ip address. also happening today, parents and teachers are taking a stand against breaking up their school district. a group of parents submitted a petition to spin off northgate high school of walnut creek along with three elementary schools and a middle school. the county has until the end of august to approve or reject and resend that recommendation to the state board. the parents who oppose say the mount diablo school district needs the northgate schools to remain economic and culturally diverse. asking the board to reject the plan to separate northgate from the school district. the time is 7:09. now, we will take a closer look. a new security screening procedure being tested out and the privacy concerns about them . also, and message to okc fans. the humorous wardrobe choice by kevin durant during this celebrity baseball game of the weekend. and, if you are driving on 80 westbound or on 24 or any of the east bay commutes, highway 92 -- it is not a bad commute getting out to the peninsula. a. if you look over whether, today and tomorrow are your days! to fly this summer, get ready for changes. >> alex savidge is telling us about changes being phased in slowly. >> reporter: they could potentially slow things down at security checkpoints. good morning to you guys. essentially what they are trying to do is get travelers to de-clutter those carry-on bags . we are seeing more and more people take on carry-on bags to avoid baggage fees. this is an effort to make it easier for tsa agents to spot dangerous items inside someone's back. what this may mean is that soon, you will have to pull out a laptop or tablet or something like food or books and put those items into separate ends as you come through the security checkpoint. the tsa has been checking these recently including lax, phoenix and las vegas. it is not a civil those it does not appear as though they are doing this yet. passengers carry-on bags can be so full that even the x-ray machines have trouble seeing exactly what is inside. some people today say the tsa should get more powerful x-ray machines that that is the case instead of making people unpack their bags. >> that is crazy and i think that is ridiculous. they are asking us to take our stuff out of a bag . and we have already packed it and repacked it. they have lost their minds. >> of course, we already have to go through a lot to go through security checkpoints. we take our shoes off and get rid of all of our liquids and some feel like this is maybe going to bar. the aclu has stepped in and they are raising privacy concerns. they say when it comes to the sensitivity of what people may be reading and the idea that you might have tsa agents pulling out these or magazines and going through those items in the middle of a very public security checkpoint is potentially an issue for the aclu. you also have a slowing down of the screening process. the lines are already long enough and the last thing you need is for someone to have 12 separate cases in front of you. the time is 7:14. it took six hours longer than expected for a southwest airlines flight to fly from la to houston. the pilot diverted to corpus christi, texas. that is where a woman was removed on the plane. she apparently had been pacing up and down the aisle throughout the flight. she later tried to open a rear exit and jump out. other passengers stopped her. when she was taken off the plane, she was taken into custody. the other passengers arrived safely in houston last night. and airasia flight with 359 people on board flying from australia to asia was supposed to turn around after an engine problem made the plane shake nonstop for two hours. passengers say they heard a loud bang and the plane started shaking. one passenger said it was so bad that it felt like he was sitting on top of a washing machine. the pilot asked them to pray twice on their way back to the airport. >> it was like from the left wing and the plane just started shuttering a lot and you could tell by the cabin crew's reaction that it was really bad. >> the plane landed safely and no one was hurt. kevin durant of the warriors turned the table on okc fans who have been calling him soft. on saturday, he and his teammates played in drive between the bridge and the macarthur maze. it is not a bad commute. especially for this time of the morning. this is a look at the bay bridge. although, there is still a backup. i think we are going to start to see a lightning up coming this weekend on the week of 4 july. we will see this traffic is going to be liked. this is a look at highway 24 in lafayette just to see what we are doing. 24 is not bad as you drive through the area and it is getting a little slower. i want to put up the rest of contra costa county. highway four is slow and let's bring stephen with today's weather. it started for many of the weekend but it continues today for those to the north and now to the inland valleys as the delta breeze has kicked in. we have a weak system that has kicked in enhancing that low cloud deck. everything is in place for a significant cooldown today and tomorrow. concorde, 105 and san jose at 96. not today. low clouds start to retreat and you will see that breeze pick up. from one extreme to the other, maybe wednesday, we will be close to normal but we have low clouds making a pretty good surge because of that guy. this time of year, that is all you need to get that japan and it is expected in the us, as well. takata airbags say that is the only way they can continue supplying replacements for the defective airbags. they are overwhelmed and the recall is related to the death of at least 16 people. this clears the way for key safety systems in michigan to take over most of takata airbags assets. best known for making it easy for people to transfer cash quickly between each other but now, it can be used for in- store purchases. they are testing a debit card. it would be tied to the balance of the user's account and let the user spend money without having to wait for a transfer from my bank account and that would set it apart from other debit cards but they plan to charge a fee for using that debit card and person-to-person transfers have been free. facebook talking about creating scripted animated tv programming. the wall street journal says in some cases, facebook is offering up to $3 million for it. the goal for the launch is late this summer. significant low cloud deck. breezy and windy and temperatures will be in the 50s and 60s at the coast. if we don't bottom out today, we will bottom out tomorrow. we do have 56. fairfield, 59. napa airport, 59. there is your southwest for just about everybody. and the low cloud deck continues to march inland. 61 in saratoga. and low 50s. scotts valley and boulder creek, a cooler pattern takes us into today and tomorrow with 50s and 70s. this out this picking up. -- the south is picking up. traffic is moderate. 30 minutes to drive from the bridge to mccarthy. it is not bad. when you get around the bridge, you will see a backup that is taking about 20 minutes. this is normal. we have a normal-looking monday commute coming into san francisco. also highway 24 in lafayette and you will see that 24 is a bit sluggish. highway 4 is closed. the other way out to danville, we still have slow traffic over the altamont pass and over 680 heading down toward fremont. you will see some slow traffic. the bay area transportation officials want chp to step up enforcement of the carpool lanes . if the officials get their way, we could see a crackdown on carpool cheats. kelly is live in berkeley this morning to explain what they want to see happen. alec -- alex. >> reporter: the carpool lanes have become crowded. part of the reason, there are more people than ever driving clean air vehicles. and they are allowed to use the hov lanes but the area of transportation commission says carpool cheats are the real problem and they want to see increased enforcement from the chp. they want sacramento lawmakers to set aside funds for that increased enforcement. you can use the carpool lane legally but only if you have a clean air vehicle with a special decal. that program is set to expire in 2019 but there is a bill in the state assembly to extended through 2022 but the ncb is opposing the bill unless there are extra funds to pay for the enforcement. the ticket for driving in the carpool lane without extra passengers is about $490 and chp has written more tickets to violators over the past several years but apparently, it has not been much of a deterrent. there are also cleaner vehicles on the road than ever before. according to the latest numbers, about 38% of vehicles on bay area roadways are clean air vehicles and they are all allowed to use the hov lanes and after that, the carpool cheats and those lanes have gotten pretty crowded. >> the carpool lanes are not performing as well as they should be and virtually, in every part of the bay area. and, we don't think it is going to help to extend the decal program for clean air vehicles. >> reporter: the standard for an effective useful carpool lane is that traffic should be moving on it at 45 miles an hour or faster. at least 90% of the time and the ntsb says carpool lanes don't make the grade and they are only functioning at a little more than half. taking a look at westbound 80 in berkeley. the first lane on the far left, it is hard to tell how many drivers and passengers are eating -- are in each car but a lot of drivers would say, it is not uncommon to see people cheating and dipping in and out of those carpool lanes or just sitting in the carpool lane when they don't have the number of passengers needed to get through traffic faster. back to you guys. that is our question of the day. have you ever cheated huge titles from the delta to southern california has overcome the latest hurdle. governor brown came up with the $16 billion plan for the twins delta tunnels and it needs federal approval to move ahead. the us fish and wildlife service as well as the national marine fission -- fish service is expected to make a report. this will help struggling fish while at the same time giving farmers in the central valley a dependable water supply. critics say the tunnels threaten fish that are almost extinct. in the meantime, the melting snow pack in this area is blamed for weekend flooding. 90 homes were evacuated. there was a 15 foot break in the levy on friday and floodwaters reached homes at the kings river golf and country club east of kingsburg. about 300 people are still affected. that flood warning is expected to expire this afternoon. the weekends largest pride celebration in san francisco with hundreds of thousands of people lining the streets. there was music, costumes and dancing and hundreds of groups marching including several protracted trump policies. the tone of this year's parade was towards protecting equality. >> it seems like more of a protest . with our current administration, we are back into the protest days. we have really had to struggle to keep our rights. >> this year, about 260 groups are a part of the parade. the pride says most of the groups were bigger than normal. >> [ screaming ] more than 200,000 people marched in the cities 43rd pride parade. this year's theme was "come together, we will rise." saying it was exciting to be around destroyed over the weekend. look at the pictures. the san francisco rec and parks department calls this crime a terrible act of vandalism. visitors were disappointed that the park was closed but the carousel is still open. >> i feel kind of disappointed because this is one of my favorite parts of the park. >> it is kind of sad, really. like, who would do that . expect the park originally opened in 1888. 10 years ago, the children's playground reopened in 2007 after a $3.8 million renovation. park officials say it will take about $1 million to prepare -- to repair the playground. and mail carrier is been called a hero for being help to a house fire. he was out walking his route saturday afternoon when he saw the fire. he grabbed a garden hose and started spraying the house and the garage. two people were able to escape. firefighters were able to eventually get them out. >> they got their burnout and a dog. they had some kids in the front living room but the fire backed up so hopefully, they did not get smoke. >> this is the second time sweeney has been called a hero. he saved the life of a baby girl who had a seizure. he gave the baby cpr. until paramedics arrived. he is holiday is coming up in just about a week. >> reporter: good morning. we are looking at some of the bay area bridges and so far, so good . the san mateo bridge, not a bad commute. the fog bank is in place and temperatures are coming down for even the most inland locations. welcome back. our time is 7:41. a victory for the trump administration. we have just received word that the us supreme court will review president trumps travel bands. however, the supreme court is letting the trump administration enforce its 90 day ban on six multi-those muslim countries. the band would take effect 72 hours after being cleared by the courts. and as you just heard, the us supreme court will allow it to take effect. we will here -- the court will hear arguments in the fall. at least 60 high-rise buildings have failed fire safety tests. officials are testing the exterior of 600 buildings after this month's high-rise fire that killed 70 people. the flammable exterior led to the quick spread of plans and they want to prevent another tragedy. over the weekend, 4000 people from at least 4 of the buildings were ordered to evacuate. authorities are considering filing manslaughter charges and that deadly fire . the time is 7 to 42 and high winds are expected to ban several fires burning around the country today. the nation's biggest country is burning in southern utah. there it is. about 250 miles south of salt lake city. more than 42,000 acres have burned. 13 homes have been destroyed. about 15,000 people have been evacuated. that fire is only 10% contained and firefighters say stronger wind today will cause red flag conditions. a big brush fire in los angeles county is still burning this morning. it is in santa clarita. it has burned more than 800 acres as of last night, it was 50% contained. authorities believe it started with a traffic collision and a tree caught fire and the flames spread. several nearby communities have evacuated. so far, no injuries have been reported. with the fourth of july just a week away, police departments are looking for fireworks. yesterday, they found a garage packed with about $10,000 worth of fireworks. they got a tip that led them to the house. firefighters and the bomb squad helped remove the fireworks because they were such a fire hazard. >> just in case the bar happens to start in that house, once it reached the garage, you're going to have a huge fire . >> it is scary because i know how fire jumps. it could have been really bad jumping from one house to the next. >> william young is on charges of felony possession of fireworks with intent to distribute. as we no, fourth of july has many fire departments worried and warning about the dangers of fireworks. if you possess or set off fireworks, you could be fined up to $300 between july 2 and july 8. that is three times the amount of the normal fires. fireworks are illegal altogether in morgan hill. also today, fire officials from santa clara county will hold motorcyclist who is suspected of vandalism. a chp helicopter monitor the area eastbound on highway 24 between orinda and interstate 680 where a motorcyclist who had been speeding and breaking side view mirrors was seen. he was later identified as winston pulled junior. the helicopter followed the motorcycle to his house. he was later arrested. if your car was damaged last week by someone on a green kawasaki motorcycle, the chp wants to hear from you. an investigation continues today in upstate new york where a teenager felt 25 feet from an amusement park. >> they will catch you, honey, go ahead! >> they did catch that 14-year- old girl. she was not hurt. she was riding the gondola with her brother when he started screaming for help. a crowd gathered below and promise to catch her. and they caught her beautifully. >> looking at her today knowing she is all right . >> god put us in the right place at the right time. we were able to do something to save a child's life. >> park officials say the ride is in good working order but will remain closed until a full review. a people were injured after a car crashed into a swimming pool. this happened at about 7:30 last night at a vagabond in. the driver lost control of the car and crashed through a wall going straight through the pool. there were a number of children in the water when it happened. they only suffered minor injuries. the driver was taken to the hospital in critical condition. at this point, police are investigating the cause of the crash. your time is 7:54. crews in boise idaho moved the states biggest sequoia tree weighing 800,000 pounds. this tree is 10 stories tall. sequoias are native to california but this particular one was a gift to idaho. more than 100 years ago from the naturalist, john muir. they were expanding $300,000 to move the tree. and officials say there is a 95% chance that the tree will survive. an important recall. the california-based company is recalling more than 50,000 pounds of chicken products because they may contain bones. the frozen chicken bites were made on august 30 of 2016. february 1 and ninth of this year and april 25 so check your filters those so check although they are lacking in volume. on that you sure freeway, we do have slow traffic but the traffic time, to drive between these 2 points has never got above 30 minutes and that is just a little better than normal. last week, we even had 50 minutes to one hour and this morning, we haven't seen that. when you get to the bay bridge, there is plenty of waiting to do. a 15 to 20 minute wait. we are also looking at interstate 80. you can see traffic is moving well in both directions however, it is beginning to slow down in the northbound direction. san mateo bridge. that looks okay as you get out to the high rise. it is crowded and on the peninsula, southbound 101. not too bad as you drive to the south bay. 280 in san jose and it is not too bad getting up to highway 17. let's go back to the desk. san francisco and hayward police are all working together to see if remains found are those of a man missing since mother's day. the remains were found at a hayward warehouse overnight. t. >> reporter: good morning. the man who identified himself as the owner of this warehouse told me this was in fact the location where they discovered those remains over the weekend. he also confirms this is the location where the person of interest in this case worked. workers at the warehouse say it was a strong smell and they began investigating on their own and called police on saturday morning when they discovered elastic bags which contained human remains. investigators suspect the remains are those of mr. tang who was -- of mr. chai. he disappeared in may after telling friends he was going to go and visit and help bob tang. the man identified himself as the owner of this warehouse confirmed for us that this is where bob tang worked. suspect this warehouse is connected to bob tang. who is the suspect in the missing person case of mr. chai last seen on may 14 of 2017. >> reporter: you heard police saying they have been trying to track down mr. tang to talk about the disappearance but again, he also disappeared and investigators believe he has led the country and is in cambodia. at this point, there is no timeline. we are looking to talk with investigators and hayward and alameda county and also in san francisco to find out what new details this investigation has turned up and find out any more information about trying to identify those remains that were found in hayward. new this morning, a victory for the trump administration. the united states supreme court announced it will allow parts of the travel ban to go into effect. the ban applies to travelers from six predominantly muslim countries. the court says it will hear arguments in the case in october. president trump said the ban would take effect 72 hours after being cleared by the court. the president has argued that the band was needed to allow for an internal review of the screening procedures for visa applicants from those countries. the supreme court has agreed to hear an appeal from the owner of a colorado bakery that was refusing to make a wedding cake for a gay couple. the owner of masterpiece cake shop told the owner he would not make their -- told the customer he would not make their cake and a colorado port ruled against him. he petitioned the supreme court to hear the case claiming the ruling violates his freedom of speech. that case will be heard in the those items out in the near future and what that might mean for you is that you may have to put laptops, tablets and food and books into separate bins. the tsa has been testing these new security procedures at a handful of airports around the country including lax, phoenix and las vegas. as mo is not taking part. tsa says passenger carry-on bags can be soulful at times that even x-ray machines 101 and northbound 101, slow driving into sunnyvale. had a deck 15, let's bring steve in. some love cloud deck for many but not all. there are some areas on the santa cruz coast that had a lot more up. 54 instead of 79. san francisco dropped to 57 because of that dome of high pressure last week. we will see these drop a little bit. there are plenty of clouds. redwood city, 61. montero is at 60 and stanford and south. low clouds will retreat and we are setting the stage for a pretty cool pattern. 60s, 70s and 80s. temperatures are slightly below average and we were well above average last a big shutdown in san francisco. a playground at golden gate is closed this morning after vandals burned a play structure over the weekend. set san francisco park leaders say it will cost $1 million are told there will be extra patrols. anyone with information is asked to contact the san francisco fire department. ktvu fox 2 . happening today, some east bay parents and teachers are taking a stand against breaking up their school district. a group of parents have submitted a petition along with three elementary schools and a middle school. they have until august to either approve or reject and send that recommendation on. parents who opposed the plan say the devil school district needs the schools to remain diverse. for the seventh straight year, hawaii named as the worst state for living. the ranking says hawaii has the 10th highest median wage nationwide. the median income is just $40,000 but that is not enough to make up for living expenses that are 2 thirds higher than the rest of the nation. california took the #2 spot for the worst living. washington named the best followed by minnesota and illinois. sometimes is that they have developed a drug that has the potential to give really hot temperatures and others never cooled off at all. southern california may be a little different. we get a pretty good fog bank. 63 degrees. low clouds and breezy to windy. wind gusts up to 40 miles an hour. and it is still pretty good. we went from hot to much cooler and we will warm up later in the week. low clouds and some breaks. 60s on some of the temperatures. we are pretty close. west at hayward and west, southwest. there is your delta breeze. there are a few breaks in those low clouds. 59 for gilroy. 55 for boulder creek. some breaks toward the santa cruz case -- area. a lot of 50s, 60s and 70s. it's a:30 and things are -- what? >> if you ever wonder what i am looking at -- suspect -- i am wondering what you are looking at. >> i just want to make sure it is all square and the traffic pictures are not bad. at the toll plaza, you can see that the traffic is not too bad but there is waiting so i don't want to mislead you. it is better than it normally is. especially coming in on 880. this is 880 northbound to downtown oakland. san mateo bridge traffic is moderate as you head out to the high-rise and i want to mention that we have a bit of slow traffic coming around the corner. from cesar chavez to the bay bridge. and on the peninsula, the 101 is slow. 280 doesn't look too bad. a:31 and let's go back to the desk. officials want highway patrol to step up enforcement of the good old carpool lane. it has actually doubled in recent years despite a $491 fine. we are live in berkeley to explain. >> reporter: we are on interstate 80 in berkeley and on interstate 80, if you want to use the carpool lane, you will have to have at least three people per vehicle. you can see the car lane. it is just as slow or sluggish as the other lanes of traffic and that is part of the problem. carpool lanes are becoming more crowded across the state. people are driving clean air vehicles which are allowed to use the hov lane but there are also a lot of carpal cheats in the area and those are the real problem. they want to see increased enforcement to crack down on the carpool lanes and they want sacramento lawmakers to do just that. now, solo drivers can use the carpool legally but only if they have a clean air vehicle. a special state issued sticker or decal. that clean air decal program was set to expire but there is a bill in the state assembly that would extend it. the ntc says they are against the bill unless they have the extra funds. right now, the ticket for driving in the carpool lane without extra passengers is $491. apparently, that is not enough of a deterrent. >> sometimes, they are kind of going around and they get in or they get stuck or their windows are tinted so you can't really see. >> i think some of them put a dummy in the seat. seriously! they put something in the seat and they put a hat on it and you can tell looking from behind. i have seen it. yes. i am not joking! spent the carpool lanes are not performing as well as they could be in virtually every part of the bay area and, we don't think it is going to help to extend the decal program for clean air vehicles. . >> reporter: according to the ntc, traffic should be going at least 35 miles an hour or faster 90% of the time. the area carpool lanes do not make the grade and our only functioning at that level a little more than half the time and with evidence of that right here on westbound interstate 80, the far left lane of the carpool lane and you can see people hitting their brakes and traffic barely moving. even in the carpool lane so that is an example of the carpool lanes becoming crowded. coming up 9:00, we are going to actually hit the road and get on the road and see if we see what a lot of drivers have long complained about. people driving in the carpool lane when they should not be. we will check back with you in about half an hour. no response from the chp on whether or not that agency is going to increased enforcement of the carpool lane. if they are going to increased enforcement, it is going to come with extra funding and say they recognize that. part of the conditions they are putting out in order to support the bill and renew the decal program, they want to increase the cost of the decals that they would charge for the clean air vehicles. they want to increase the cost of that and they want that extra money earmarked so that age those so that chp can do extra -- that money earmarked so that chp can do more enforcement. now to have a question of the day. have you ever cheated in the carpool lane? take a the fourth of july. morgan hill. they could face fines between july 2 and july 8. three times the normal fines. fireworks are illegal altogether in morgan hill and also, firefighters from santa overwhelmed by the lawsuits related to that massive recall of the defective airbag insulators. at least 16 people have died and 180 others have been hurt when those airbags inflated with too much force. most of the company's assets will be sold to key safety systems. executives say bankruptcy was the only way they could deal with the legal penalties and lawsuits. the california-based company is recalling more than 50,000 pounds of chicken products that may contain bones. the present chicken bites are marketed to children. check your freezer for the three house boxes of chicken bites. the down. if you are trying to make that drive, you are going to be in slow traffic for a few miles. when you get to the bay bridge, you will see slow traffic. it is still backed up for about a 10 minute delay but it is getting better and better as you drive into san francisco and i suspect it will get much better over the next hour. this is northbound 101 and we have seen some improvement. the traffic is going to be okay as you drive on the 101. pushing back to the south bay, most of those freeways are slow but things are beginning to get better in the south bay. that's bring steve in with today's weather. compared to last week, it is a huge change. we have a big fog bank. this week, overall, it is pretty quiet. some drizzle toward santa rosa. and pleasant hill, this sure beats the 120 degrees in phoenix last week. i can imagine. very hot for a long period of time. santa rosa, 93. san jose, 96. they will all be in the 70s. the system is moving in and the atmosphere has really enhanced. 60s for many and we are getting a few 50s but a lot of 60s. brentwood, 66. that's a big difference. 55 and going on 57. tabriz is the one factor. low clouds out of the west or southwest including travis which has wind gusts of 33 miles an hour. look at how the system in the great lakes is bringing unseasonably cool temperatures. but we are seeing temperatures at chicago, 67. washington dc, 79 degrees and humidity went below 30%. if you are from maryland or washington, you know that that is unbelievably rare to have humidity below. for some, just follow that. low clouds have pushed back some upper 60s, 70s and 80s. and brentwood, temperatures and we even had a little bit of breeze. 79 in gilroy and 56 on the coast. menlo park, 76. about the same tomorrow. near
