traffic is being diverted to the 280, 680 split. we don't have an estimated time of opening for when that will be he opened. that's really going to depend on the floodwaters receding. so at this point we are -- hoping people get the information and are able to plan an alternate route if they need to get through that area and heading in to san jose or out of san jose. >> is there a plan to send in pumps to get water out or let it recede on its own? >> i have not spoken directly to cal trans yet to see what the next step plan is. i know we do have our officers who are on scene now at the office currently who are working on making those plans and -- making sure we have the best the approach to be able to do it as quickly as possible and also depends on if there is anymore water that will come from the dams. it'll possibly create more flooding. >> we have a map on the screen showing you this particular area that's affected. i know you got to go but before you go we know this is a big deal. how much traffic goes through this area normally? >> especially during the morning the northbound traffic we are talking about. you know thousand and thousand of vehicles. i wouldn't be able to give you a specific number. the exact count of vehicles going through but it'll have a major impact as best we -- as i stated during the drive hours. which are essentially from now until -- you know somewhere past 9:00 a.m. so, any those vehicles and then -- in that direction. there is alternate routes of going 680, 280, up 85. they would be best served to make that plan now and be able to plan
