possibly and north of that -- we are -- north bay. mar in is supposed to get rain but it looks like the folks aren't quite as concerned about it. at least not just yet. we drove up -- we can only find one store front that had sandbags ready kind of lined up outside their shop here. that flash flood watch is in effect until sunday. until monday. parts of the north bay could get from nine inches to as much as a foot of rain in the next several days the brunt of that is supposed to be falling really in north of santa rose a. farther north of us. in gurnville people were taking precautions. they were preparing. watching the river closely. they will do in this weekend. heavy rain expected to push the river to 32 feet which is considered the flood stage by sunday morning. not a drop of rain to show you out here. doesn't look like a lot of cloud cover. that's expected to change over the next several days while the far north bay, santa rosa north. they are -- supposed to get a lot of heavy rainfall this weekend. here it's supposed to be more moderate. maybe in the rest of the bay area. more moderate rainfall. here is a look at some of the top stories we are following. it's unclear if for bart will consider a plan that will lead to fines for those who take up more than one seat. passengers would be fined $100 for the first time they take up to much room. 200 for a second time and 500 for anything more than that. the plan is designed it help more get seats as the number of passengers continues to grow. a south bay police dispatcher is suing the police chief and the city claiming inappropriate behavior. the 38-year-old said that she has faced gender discrimination, sexual harassment while working with the s.w.a.t team. the photograph you that saw of her was from the department's facebook page. she said she was subjected to sexual banter and simulated sex acts. when she told the police chief he did nothing to stop it and she was placed on leave. >> all this kind of boys will be boys section sec you'll -- sexual conduct which i said at some point came more than they could tolerate. >> the city manager is responding now by issuing an open letter to the community. in that letter he acknowledged the past behavior of some workers was inconsistent with the standards expected of employees. he also said that an investigator found her claims are not supported by the facts the first court hearing in the case is scheduled for july. a reward is boeing offered to find a suspect in a deadly bart shooting. police released new video of the man they say shot and killed carlos ram ero. the video shows him walking on a platt alarm and leaving the station. previous they had only released grainy still images. she haven't been able -- they haven't been able to identity the man. anyone with information is asked to contact police. melissa nounsed an arrest in a case involving racist grafitti. the message was found on the main door to the unified school door. in addition to the offensive words there were symbols spray painted across the door also. the office is next door to an elementary school and parents say they were disturbed. >> that is really sad. especially somewhere at a educational place, like facility and for kids to maybe see that. it's really ignorant. >> reporter: investigators identified a suspect after he was brought in on unrelated charges. they say he was spotted less than half a mile away riding a bike. santa cruz has suspend aid fraternity and soror ind and six students arrested on suspicious of operating a drug ring. they were arrested last week. their suspensions will last until campus proceedings complete. they also face criminal charges. all are out on bail. they were arrested when police and federal agents received several tablets of ectasy. the students are members of the fraternity and the sorority. the national leaders of those organizations sent ceas experience desist orders to the chapters. jurors in the wrongful death case will continue working this morning. his parents are suing the city. the case went to the jury yesterday afternoon. they will decide whether his parents should receive compensation for the deadly police shooting two years ago. the family contends the four officers used unreasonable force and should have had a better plan of action. police say neito pointed his taser at them and they thought it was a gun. today is the second day people can pay their respects to nancy regan. more than three thousand filed past her casket yesterday. another public viewing being held today. >> she was involved from who the guests were to who the pallbearers are, the people reading. everything down to the flowers. we are following her orders to make sure she has the funeral deserving of her. >> about a thousand guests expected tomorrow including the first lady, former president george w bush and his wife, former first lady carter and hillary clinton. president obama will not attend. he is scheduled to give the key note address at the south by southwest festival in austin texas. some have criticized him for missing the funeral but presidents haven't always attended the funerals of former first ladies. its going to fake at least three weeks for terribles in los angeles to determine if the case found at oj simpson's former estate was connected to the killings of his ex-wife. officials with knowledge say that los angeles police detectives doubt the knife was used in the killings. officials say its one that's commonly used among gardeners and is to small to make the wounds that committed the murders. a school district has a new and controversial policy that allows guns on campus. they sent out a letter telling parents. it said some staff members who have concealed weapons permit dear sir bring them to school and store them but not everybody is allowed. no teachers or authorized to carry or store guns at school. parents have mixed reactions. >> the only place that are safe is the ones where people do carry. our schools being shot up because they don't have the protection. >> i don't approve of concealed weapons. if you are going to have a weapon it shouldn't be concealed. >> the school district said for security reasons it'll not identity which schools have employee who can store their guns on campus. today the senate is scheduled to vote on whether to raise the legal age to smoke. if approved california would be the second state in the country to increase the age from 18 to 21. hawaii already requires smokers to be 21. the new age limit would also include people who use e cigarettes. state lawmakers trying to crack down on use and the health problems linked to smoking. grumpy, distracted prone to make mistakes. . >> and the dean of happened almost every day. the university investigated her claims and said he did admit to hugging, kissing and touching her. he also said it was very inappropriate but said there was no sexual intent. after the investigation he was told to take sexual harassment training. new details are being released after about attack inside the san jose state library. officials say that a 37-year- old kenneth stuart went into a woman's rest room in the library late tuesday night and tried to assault a 56-year-old woman. when she screamed another woman ran in and helped chase him away. campus police say they saw a man running and caught him outside the library. neither woman was hurt. the university said that it's working to make the area safer including moving shelving near the bathroom to make it more open and visible. police say neither the victim or suspect are associated with the school. time is 4:46. bart police are investigating after an object hit a train car window last night. the train was near the pleasant hill bart station just before six last night. the bay area news group said that a rock or something similar shattered the glass. it didn't go through the window and nobody
