you can see it's still smoldering. firefighters are out here. the sheriffs office is out here right now because they will be investigating this as a possible crime. they have roped it off. the person inside this mobile home just didn't make it out when flames erupted a short time ago. it was around 3:00 this morning when the fire started on fuchsia short in unincorporated hayward. the firefighters knocked down the fire and then they started block the area off with crime scene tape. neighbors nearby saw the smack, they called 911, and saw this place on fire. the man that lives next >> by the bay man has his family worried and petaluma police frustrated. roy martinez parked his car near the fairgrounds and then disappeared. he left his cell phone, car keys, and wallet inside the locked car yesterday. these temperatures all in the 50s. welcome back to the ktvu channel 2 morning news. a woman and her boyfriend have been charged with the murder of her estranged husband and the kidnapping of her three children. san pablo police say alicia or advertise and ortiz may have each pulled the trigger of a shotgun killing 43-year-old oscar sunday night. police say or advertise then took her three children from the home. ortez was in the middle of a bitter custody battle. the two suspects were arrested monday night and the children were found safe. a san francisco man is facing several charges after an hours long swat standoff. it's a story reported all morning lounged. police say 37-year-old joseph salis barricaded himself inside of a home after firing a gun at family members. when police arrived late wednesday night solis refused to come out. officers were worried his two children were inside. the children were found safe after he surrounded around 7:00 a.m. yesterday. he faces charges including child endangerment, resisting arrest and being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm. a san leandro man was arrested after barricading himself inside of a home for two hours. police blocked after the road before 4:30 yesterday afternoon. they say a man wanted for felony crimes was inside of a home. an alert was sent out warning neighbors to stay inside while officers worked to get the man to surrender. he did around 6:00 last night. no one was hurt. in fresno a mistake by a jury cost a man his life. 37-year-old bobby lee pearson was a career criminal on trial for burglary. the jury deadlocked 8-4. mistakenly signed a form on wednesday declaring he was not guilty. the judge later learned about the error but it was too late to reverse the verdict and pearson was released from jail. he then went to his sister's home to collect some belongings but then got into a fight with his boyfriend and was stabbed to death. >> if bobby pearson not been released, would this murder occur? no. >> jurors say there were wasn't a form saying they were deadlocked. only guilty or not guilty. joseph scott was arrested during a traffic stop in redwood city over the memorial day weekend. tests show that he had a blood alcohol level of .12 at the time. scott is scheduled to be arraigned on august 6th in the same courthouse where he serve. the newest graduates of dublin high school are getting home after a big party designed to keep them happy and safe. the school has a 20-year tradition of graduation on the football field. this year's event at a nearby club sport featured human foosball and video game. grad organizers say the idea is to keep new graduates off the streets as as they celebrate a huge turning point in their lives. >> they are teenagers. so we know that this is the most dangerous weekend of their lives in terms of one of the biggest weekends of their lives. we just want them to be safe. >> the california office of traffic safety april, may, and june are especially dangerous months for teenage drivers as they look ahead to summer. parties like dublin high school will get them safely into the next phase of their life. the tree fell at 1:00 yesterday afternoon cutting off access to three lanes near alemany boulevard. one lane was opened shortly after 2:00. but the other two lanes were not open until 6:00. hopefully there will be no trees driving from the carquinez bridge on westbound 80 to the mccarthur maze is 18 minutes. that is pretty much the standard time. there are no major slow downs on the way. as you drive to the toll plaza, the traffic continues to look good with no major problems. the traffic is still doing very well driving through. 580 livermore that looks good. they are clearing up road work in dunlin, pleasanton that is a sure sign it has maxed itself out. there are some patchy fog there but mainly clear and cool. we will see upper 40s here for the low. it will be warmer today. nothing outrageous or crazy and a warmer weekend. but there is no consistency for the forecast models. i tend to believe the one that is really cool because the trend is your friend. patchy fog clear and cool. lots of sun. it will be breezy at times. not as breezy or bluster as it has been. fog was not that much. 50s on the temps. i do expect a couple 40s here. napa, santa rosa, novato. still an okay gust at travis. 26 down from 38 to 40 a couple days ago. south of concord. oakland has a north breeze. a little bit of a westerly breeze sfo still kicking up its heels there. we have that on shore breeze. that is why temperatures will be near seasonal averages today. really mild up in tahoe and reno. the reason being for our cool downs is that low right there which is visiting seattle and portland with rain that did enhance our fog. there is still patchy fog left. once the low ejects out which will be later today, that will allow temperatures to warm up a little bit. compared to where we were yesterday. we'll see low to mid 80s. inland 60s and 70s coast and bay. it will be warmer as we go into the weekend but not like last weekend. sunshine and warmer temps after patchy morning fog. a little breezy at times. afternoon temps are beginning to move out a little bit today. we had a pretty good little cool down. 60s and 70s coast and bay. concord we will go 80. livermore 81. santa rosa with a north breeze, 84. fog, sun, nice and a little warmer on saturday and sunday. there will probably be patchy fog but i'm going with a cooler trend. >> thank you. early this morning the full moonlit up the sky but this one was a little unusual. that is because today is friday the 13th. some say full moons are associated with ware wolves. last time there was a friday the 13th as well as a full moon was october in 2000. and the next one won't happen until august of 2049. no more over night camping at a popular san mateo county camp site. the campground will be closed for the rest of the month starting on monday. san mateo county parks officials say water levels just too low and algae is blocking an intake pipe. they plan to evaluate the water situation again at the end of the month to see if it improves to allow for the camping. marin county has the highest medium prices for homes. the largest price now tops $1 million. that is according to the real estate information service data day three years ago. time is 4:54. donald sterling now plans to dig up dirt on the nba. the ap reports sterling has fired four private eyes to investigate the league's former and current commissioners as well as the 29 owners. the private detectives will look into whether the chiggers or owners ever made racist or sexist remarks. sterling sued the nba for $1 billion after the league tried to oust him as the clippers owner for his own racist rants. colin kaepernick and two other players won't face charges after an encounter with a woman in a l.a. hotel room. there is no evidence that any crime was committed. a 25-year-old woman told miami police she woke up in a hospital after partying with kaepernick and the other players. kaepernick tweeted that he is glad the issue is now resolved. just last week he signed a six- year, $126 million contract. gavin newsom has joined others in a apology from rick perry. when asked if homosexuality was a disorder he called it a lifestyle and compared it to alcoholism. this is angering gay rights groups. >> dumb statements like that really encourage the violence and the oppression of a significant number of people who live in texas. >> perry is a favorite among conservatives and considering another presidential run in 2016. his office did not respond our request for an interview but a spokesman told reporters perry firmly believes a marriage is between one man and one woman. new jersey governor chris christie will attend a republican fundraiser at the mark hopkins hotel. admission is $10,000. christie is also expected to join republican candidate for governor neil kashkari to talk about job creation. christie is recovering from a scandal in which his administration shut down a busy bridge last september for political retribution.
