-- brock turner to just six months in jail, the maximum sentence was 14 years. it wasn't long before persky told jurors he was recently part of a high profile case. >> he said if there is anyone in the jury that had any feelings towards him to raise your hand. i did. it was just his tone, he talked as if it was nothing. i think that's what got to me and all of the other jurors to raise their hand.>>reporter: the 19-year-old says she and four other people were required to give a reason. she told persky, she didn't feel comfortable being front of a judge who she thought, favored turner instead of the victim in the unrelated case. she also said he made her blood boil. >> the fact that a judge decided to give the defendant, a rapist, more feelings towards him and wanted him to be okay instead of the victim. that's what made me the most angry.>>reporter: she said persky remained calm and dismissed them. she said she was so focused on persky being on the bench, more than the case she was to be there for.>> i was more into the fact that it was him, he was in that courtroom, still doing his thing despite everything that it happened. >>reporter: we reached out to a spokesperson to find out how many people had been dismissed. we did not receive a call back.>> we knew about the few jurors that you just mentioned, do you believe there are more?>>reporter: it is possible. we know of at least five. she said they were in the very first batch of jurors brought in that day. there was still a full day of jurors to be brought in and potentially be excused. there are reports that up to 10 jurors or potential jurors rather were dismissed.>> this backlash grows. thank you christina. newly raised court documents in the case are raising questions about that turner's behavior before the night of the assault. they include evidence that clms contradicted a statement that it happened because of his quote and experience. they include photos on turner's phone of what appeared to be he and his friend smoking marijuana. they include text messages of turner speaking of drug use and drinking while in high school and ohio. executors submitted these materials, when they asked for a stiffer sentence, saying the findings showed that he had lied about his drug and alcohol use. the growing moved to recall the judge brought protesters to the state building in san francisco today. they presented a present -- petition with the million signatures including signatures from 11 state lawmakers. there is a mending -- demanding an investigation. >> this case has ignited a spark. the
