That hostage youre referring to is an employee at the shoe store in a strip mall on hyde street. Hostage was released and is safe, but there are concerns the suspect might harm himself or anyone else near the store. Police say he started off at least six rounds inside that store. At about 11 15 this morning, Oakland Police responded to a call that a man wanted in a double homicide kees stormed into a store on the 1600 block of hyde street in east oakland.
