(sot video) 1:00:01 11:44 somebody please call 911 and tell them where i'm at. if you know where i'm at if you can hear me. 08 (sot aaron) 6:02 i i had no idea what to do. nobody could hear me on the phone so i just figured the first second by second -- people began posting on aaron's facebook page -- some even getting in their cars to help out. the chase went on for about 30 eventually stopped and surrendered. police finally arriving to arrest the suspected car thieves. a plane crash mystery in connecticut. the f-b-i now on the scene of that deadly crash. why they say this might not have been an accident. plus... people in north carolina struggling with the deadly aftermath of hurrican matthew. why the devastating flooding is only expected to get worse. you're watching 13 action news, fast and first. device left outside of a police station . an officer found a backpack outside the police headquarters with something inside. nederland police spent all day yesterday and late into the night investigating. the boulder county bomb squad came in, using two robots to detonating a device indside. it's still not clear what it was or who left it in the area. . ground view-vm right now...one man is in critical condition after this massive fire and explosion destroys a home near chicago. take a look...you can see the fire burning out of control in the distance. witnesses say the gas explosion sounded like a bomb and an earthquake. several people were forced from their homes -- and the entire neighborhood blocked off so firefighters could fight it. no one was inside when this happened. two planes are left damaged after an incident at a newark airport. officials say a united airlines plane and a lufthansa plane clipped wings. it happened on the taxiway as the lufthansa plane was parked with no passengers on board. there were no reports of injuries, but both planes were damaged. the f-b-i is on the scene of a deadly plane crash in connecticut.. now investigating whether that crash was intentional small plane went down in hartford it took off from a nearby airport with a student pilot and instructor on board. witnesses say they saw the aircraft plunging into a busy street.. hitting power lines and bursting into flames. eyewitness 1: "3 poles when it hit the last one it just boom." eyewitness 3: "power just ran out at work.. everyone just ran outside." eyewitness 2: "he hit a pole just behind me than he came in and landed? i actually thought it was a part of the plane crash -- but the instructor survived. he is now telling authorities the crash was "not an accident". the instructor telling police there was an altercation in the cockpit during their training flight, and that was unable to regain control of the plane from the student pilot. now to the latest on the effects of hurricane matthew. more than half a million customers are still without power across five states and the death toll continues to rise. dangerous flooding o force thousands from their homes in north carolina. abc's elizabeth hur has the latest. ith rivers still rising.. frustration is growing.. where this dam in moore county, north carolina.. with a hole the size of a fire truck.. is prompting mandatory evacuations.
