Investigators say this all started just after 8 00 this morning after a woman walked up to security at the stratosphere and said she had been assaulted. When officers arrived, the suspect refused to come out of the home on West Philadelphia avenue. Ensuing standoff lasted until 4 00 this afternoon, but everything ended peacefully. The backup was miles down this road. Officials say the truck was passing through a construction site where crews are expanding blue diamond road. But they say the dump truck driver started to experience brake problems he lost control of the truck and crashed into the couple driving inside the motorhome. 70s here from germany. It was a big mess out here this morning the biggest concern now any leftover debris. This front bumper was torn off during the crash and was lying in the road unil somebody dragged it to the sidewalk.
