"we're actually seeing the numbers go in the wrong direction, not just in iowa, but nationally, especially with young girls," of iowa. " if we want to fill that pipeline of talent and if we want to keep our young people in the state of iowa, this is an industry sector that's growing, that will c ctinue to grow and pvides tremendous opportunities." reynolds is scheduled to visit ikm-manning high schl in march. reynolds also stopped by the new launchpad children's museum, in downtown sioux city, this morning. she toured the new facility, and spokwith staff about the different tools available for kids. reynolds says the museum gives kids the opportunity to both play and learn. president barack obama says there is "more than enough time" for the senate to consider a nomination to the supreme court this year, and he intends to move ahead with his choice. the president says he intends to nominate someone who is indisputably qualified for the seat that was held by the late antonin scalia. president obama says those who say he should leave the nomination to the next president are reading something into the constitution that just isn't there.
