made available. smith was not wearing a body camera. also breaking over night. >> marty:police are investigating a double homicide in downtown oakland. it happened on 15th street just before one this morning. when police arrived on the scene, they found at least two people dead from apparent gunshot wounds. a third person was also found shot and rushed to a hospital. his condition is uknown. here with more on the evacuations. rebecca? >> rebecca:that's right marty, this fire is burning south of lower lake and is now at 400- acres. it started around 5:00 yesterday and is quickly growing. this is new video of that fire just into the kron four news room. evacuations are now in place for ellen springs, clayton cree, highway 53 to dam road and morgan valley road. an evacuation center has been set up at the highlands senior center in clearlake as well. that fire is 15-percent contained. lake county is all too familiar to wildfires. the 'valley fire' broke out last september. killing four people and destroying close to two thousand structures. the valley fire is considered california's third worst fire in history. and just this past week. the cause of the fire was released. investigators say the fire was caused by faulty wiring for a hot tub. cal fire says the homeowner admitted that he installed that circuit himself. according to the press democrat this homeowner is challenging the findings. we are also keeping our eye on several other wildfires burning across the state. cal-fire has made major progress on a brushfire burning near morgan hill. so far, no evacuations have been ordered. and it does not appear any homes are threatened at this time. these aerials of the fire are from our helicopter partnership with a-b-c-7. the 'oak fire' has consumed more than 25 -acres near the uvas reservoir in santa clara county. it is now 90-percent contained. in monterey county. firefighters are making some progress on the soberanes fire burning between carmel and big sur. it is now 60- percent contained. fire officials say that fire has burned more than 71-thousand acres. 57-homes have been destroyed. several miles of state highway one just south of point sur will be closed for up to 24-hours starting this afternoon as firefighters continue to fight the blaze. the closure will start at two p- m from the point sur lightstation to coast ridge road. and in yolo county. the wildfire burning near the napa county line is now fully contained. this is video from last week when the fire first began, just off highway 128, west of winters. it burned just under nine square miles. two buildings were destroyed in the blaze. firefighters are still on the scene monitoring hot spots. the cause of the fire is under investigation. >> marty:happening tomorrow. coast guard helicopter rescue during the deadly flooding in baton rouge, louisiana. the coast guard has already rescued more than fifty people in distress from rooftops, cars and trailors due to the is burning south of lower lake and is now at 400- acres. it started around 5:00 yesterday and is quickly growing. this is new video of that fire just into the kron four news room. evacuations are now in place for ellen springs, clayton cree, highway 53 to dam road and morgan valley road. an evacuation center has been set up at the highlands senior center in clearlake as well. that fire is 15-percent contained. lake county is all too familiar to wildfires. the 'valley fire' broke out last september. killing four people and destroying close to two thousand structures. the valley fire is considered california's third worst fire in history. and just this past week. the cause of the fire was released. investigators say the fire was caused by faulty wiring for a hot tub. cal fire says the homeowner admitted that he installed that circuit himself. according to the press democrat this homeowner is challenging the findings. we are also keeping our eye on several other wildfires burning across the state. cal-fire has made major progress on a brushfire burning near morgan hill. so far, no evacuations have been ordered. and it does not appear any homes are threatened at this 90-percent contained. in monterey county. firefighters are making some progress on the soberanes fire burning between carmel and big sur. it is now 60- percent contained. fire officials say that fire has burned more than 71-thousand acres. 57-homes have been destroyed. several miles of state highway one just south of point sur will be closed for up to 24- hours starting this afternoon as firefighters continue to fight the blaze. the closure will start at two p- m from the point sur lightstation to coast ridge road. and in yolo county. the wildfire burning near the napa county line is now fully contained. this is video from last week when the fire first began, just off highway 128, west of winters. it burned just under nine square miles. two buildings were destroyed in the blaze.
