good morning, top stories we are following this wednesday july 10th. new revelations from the n- t-s-b about the asiana airlines crash, a live interview with the chairwoman coming up. plus, a new animation of asiana flight 214 shows us what it looks like to be in the cockpit of the flight. and the c-e-o for asiana airlines has arrived in san fuhr francisco after the deadly plane crash. why his arrival at a-s-f-o we're continuing to follow the latest in the asiana flight 214 crash. the families of the two victims have met with the coroner's office. and the ntsb is coming out with new details on what might have caused the deadly plane crash. looked turn our attention to weather and traffic. we will begin the forecast with a >>janu:. body starts to the morning dealing with areas of drizzle. it what it will be a little slow to clear this afternoon pettifog along the coastal areas. we are going to see fog and clouds grow widespread once again. right now we are going to an offer to george. >>george: we started this morning tracking a hot spot interstate 580 at the dublin interchange westbound. the accident has been cleared but the heavy traffic remains. drive times are above normal. they may start to come down but perhaps not very quickly. currently, the drive time is running at 38 minutes and it should be about 28 to 30 minutes for the westbound ride the thankfully, all lanes are open and it is no back up through the all to my past. the >>james: police and east san jose are investigating a shooting that injured at least three people. if that happened just after 4:00 this morning. and new details in the amber alert issued monday as authorities are still searching for two children good morning and thanks for joining us. a massive search is underway for missing oakland woman, sandra coke. morning. just after 4 this morning a shooting was reported at the 15-hundred block of cunningham avenue. this was near basketball courts at the "san jose apartments" no victims were located at the scene but two men and one woman walked into local hospitals with non-life threatening gunshot wounds. police have no motive at this time. new this morning, volunteers are out at sacred heart community service in san jose getting ready to give away thousands of backpacks to kids in need. we have new video this morning out of concord. where the driver of what's believed to be a stolen pickup truck crashed into the back fence of a home. this happened just before 1:00 on bailey road. the truck was reported stolen from downtown concord around todos santos plaza. police chased the driver off the freeway and onto bailey. the driver lost control and slammed into a fence. police arrested the male driver and took him to the hospital with minor injuries. a female passenger was also taken into custody. in san jose, an arrest has been made in the killing of 19- year-old san jose state student. kimberly chico. she was shot and killed last saturday morning, near the intersection of south second and east san salvador streets. the suspect, identified as 23-year- old johnny lozano, was booked on homicide charges. and being a felon in possession of a gun. police say chico was an innocent victim, in the wrong place at the wrong time. the shooting happened as bars were closing in downtown san jose. south of first street. more arrests could still a multi-state manhunt is on for kidnapping and murder suspect james dimaggio. dimaggio is suspected of abducting two children in california. after killing their mother. a police spokeswoman says investigators have uncovered new information that the dimaggio may be more dangerous than they first thought. investigators also say that if you spot dimaggio's car. *do not approach it. they're worried it might be rigged with explosives. authorities have also including parts of canada and mexico in the hunt for dimaggio.jan caldwell san diego co. sheriff's dept the possibility of a bart strike still very real this morning. as the two sides continue to fight over details like salary and health benefits. right now, a board of inquiry appointed by governor brown is working on a report to turn in. the governor may order a 60 day cooling off period so trains will keep running while bart and its unions continue to negotiate. at the same time, the unions are suggesting they may issue a 48-hour strike notice depending on how talks go today. new this morning, volunteers are out of at the sacred heart community service in san jose getting ready to give away thousands of backpacks and kids--for kids in need. the backpacks are filled with aging corporate school supplies. the upper kids get items like france and the older kids will get calculators. all of the and the olde♪ kids will get (woman) this place has got really good chocolate shakes. live at the solano county fairgrounds vallejo with the latest on this investigation. >>darya: the search teams from five different agencies are here. we are learning some new information. as far as the disappearance of sandra coke. the five crews are going to be here including the fbi. they will be searching three square miles of the solano fair grounds. they are going to spread out and search looking for the 50 year-old criminal investigator for the federal public defender's office. police are being of little tight- lipped about what led them here but only said they've recently interviewed a person of interest, randy alana who was last seen with her this past sunday. she left her home on sunday following a lead looking for her missing dog who disappeared on-and may want someone had brought into her home. she put up a reward. she had been tricked recently by someone who had the dog that didn't. her sister just float and to announce a $100,000 reward for any information leading to center. in an emotional news conference she thinks people who stepped in to help find her. >>: who have reached out and help us in the past several days we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all of your support and your loved and your generous time. center was the kind of person who would have done the same. we all are just desperate to see her return home safely and so we are again you guys. >>james: to the south bay, let's take a listen here real quick. that was the scene of a two-hour standoff between police and homicide suspect in sunnyvale. the man was holed up inside a house on san pedro avenue yesterday morning. he called police to report he killed the woman inside the house. a swat team surrounded the home and tried to get the man to surrender. but he refused a police opened fire killing the man. the body of a woman was found inside the home. police will not say how she was killed and how she was related to the suspect. in livermore, the police department's animal control unit is investigating a suspected case of animal cruelty. the case involves a young dog with horrific injuries. here you can see the german shepherd at his new foster home. he's just been released from the bed after his shoulder and left for labor amputated. the reason they have to be removed was because he was found monday with a compound fracture and that lick. his leg was so badly mangled that police blocked out the ones carried the photo their release. animal control police and some possibly the dog's owner, tried to treat themselves but didn't bother to bring it to the vet. >>: somebody tried to fix him and it's not a fixable think a much more professional medical person. what they did to him was just let him suffer for days. we all know how long. >>james: that was j.j. jackson the foster owner of the dog. and they're still looking for a permanent honor. she and other solicitors helped pay for the $3,000 search reprieved we are told that the dog is moving all
