right now police are working an overnight murder at a gas station. team 12's bryan west has our top story near hayden and mckellips hot headlines.. eight people are recovering this morning -- after a serious crash in chandler. it happened yesterday afternoon near arizona and warner roads. three cars were involved in the crash.. and six people had to be taken to the hospital -- including a six- year-old. police still don't know what led up to the crash. this morning.. d-p-s is investigating after a woman says she was assaulted along the freeway. authorities say the woman stopped to help four people on the transition ramp near the loop 101 and u- robbed her. all four of them are now in custody. right now.. a woman is in serious condition after she condition after she escaped a domestic violence attack. it happened near 15-th street and mcdowell. police say a man stabbed the woman inside an apartment there. she managed to escape and the man fled the scene.. but police found him shortly after. the man accused of opening fire inside a washington state mall.. will face a judge today. 20-year-old arcan cetin was arrested over the weekend.. people inside the cascade mall. investigators have not determined a possible motive just yet. protests continued in charlotte after police shot and killed keith lamont scott. demonstrators peacefully marched through the streets of uptown charlotte sunday night as city officials lifted the curfew. one man was arrested after police found a pistol and fully loaded magazine in his bag. fans and critics of marvel's upcoming netflix show "luke cage".. are saying the lead super-hero addresses the black lives matter movem the show's creator says.. not only is luke cage bullet-proof -- he also wears hoodies as part of his signature look. the creator hopes to change the conversation and stop the stigma behind a black man in a hoodie -- that arose after the shooting death of trayvon martin in 20-12. this morning.. there is a local protest planned over the recent police shootings -- the goal to block the mill avenue bridge. team 12's nico santos is live in tempe with details...with the details... this will be the fourth protest led by reverand jarrett maupin in tempe.and this is the bridge they plan to block where cars and pedestrians cross in both pedestrians cross in both directions all day.maupin says he wants to ?continue to raise awareness of the fatal shooting of 19-year-old dalvin hollinswho was a robbery suspect.this happened two months ago.the tempe police officer who shot him has experience.lieutenant edward ouimettehad a body camera but it wasn't turned on during the shooting.the officer saying he thought hollins was armed.but there was no weapon. hollin's mother sarah coleman is expected to be at today's protest with family. she previously said in her own words this "bad cop" is "giving all the good cops a bad name."this is supposed to be a peaceful demonstration. it's set to start at 9 a-m.in underway this morning.. with the ?first?
