precious lost four precious souls today. >> reporter: an unimaginable tragedy as a family mourned the lost of eight month old aroohi dheri, her mother jasleen kaur and brothers jasdee p and amandeep singh. their bodies were found in merced. they were kidnapped from the family business. this is video of them taken to the cknds zip ed behind their backs followed by the mother and her child. >> this man does not deserve to breathe the air as the good peoe of this county. >> reporter: he confirms the suspect, 48-year-old jesus algado was a former employee who who accused the singh family of owing him money. he is now expected to make a full recovery recovery after shooting himselfy will ask prosecutor to go after the death penalty to bring juste to the family. >> the absolute anguish and grief that i experienced watching her when we were talking with the family, it is unbearable. the father of the two men flew in from india this morning or last night. and he is is here. he wants justice. he in the most ecologically friendly way possible. katie nielsen shows us us how. >> reporter: donovan owns a tree tree service out of livermore. s crews are trimming dozens of trees out of the alameda county fairgrounds creating hundreds of of pounds of branches and leaves leaves that has to go somewheree deeply believes in being a steward of the land and for his business, that means keeping the the tree debris out of landfills. most of the branches are turned into woodchip that's are given away for composting and ground cover. >> i would much rather help out recycle, reuse, and repurpose as as much of our material as possible. >> reporter: there is also a second pile of branches set aside. loaded itabout to be be recycled and repurposed. by these five gentle giants. the giraffes at the oakland zoo. >> they get fed every hour to two hours or so because they eat eat so much in the wild. >> reporter: leslie reo is the senior keeper of the giraffes. h one can eat up to 75 pounds of food each day so the zoo relies on the tree trimming companies to help keep the giraffes well fed. >> it is the key to us providing providing them the best care possible. we can't sustainably w that here. >> reporter: the two cubic yards yards of branches dropped off will keep the giraffes fed for about a day-and-a-half. just enough time to gather more branches and bring over another load. >> nice to see them eating it and strip all the leaves off the the branches and everything. it is kind of cool. it's fun to bea part of it. >> reporter: the oakland zoo partners with a handful of tree trimming >> okay. >> i'll take you word for it. >> high pressure in control of the weather. that is why it has been such a shallow compressed layer of fog. more atmosphere on on top of us pressing down and squeezing that marine layer down. that concentrates the fog so it has been very reluctant, impossible to shake along the coast. we begin to retreat on sunday. back to near normal temperatures inland by next week. there is the fog. swirling fog. swirling in around the transamerica pyramid. temperatue downtown down to 53 degrees and 53 in santa rosa. further inland, temperatures are mostly in the 60s but santa rosa is usually one of the cool spots. e will be tracking that fog as it makes its way across the bay. en the shallow layer of fog will find itself into the gaps in the the terrain. it will be a little little tough to shake for the first half of the day. the forecast models, they are hanging onto that fog. still patches over the bay. and go through the golden gate as well by noon. the forecast models have been trying to clear it out out to a greater extent as we head toward the middle of the afternoon. the start of the air show at 3:00. that little finger finger of fog making its way through the golden gate. tempers tonight not dropping a whole lot lot more in san francisco. hoveg in place. mostly 50s by early tomorrow morning pretty close to close to normal this time of year. temperatures near the water will be slightly below average. low 60s along the coast. inland, several degrees above average. close to 80 down the peninsula. around the south end of the bay, the middle portion of the 80s in the santa santa clara valley. until you go you go further inland, 90 degrees around morgan hill and . a mix of upper 80s and low 90s . it is a good ten degrees abov. upper 60s in san francisco. dee or two warmer than today. mostly than today. mostly in the mid 80s north of the golden gate until you go further north where where you are away from the rain rain influence and more likely to reach or exceed 90 degrees. e temperatures begin backing down sunday. no changes to the high temperature forecast and we start to cool down a little bit sunday. we just settle into a typical october pattern monday through thursday of next week as as temperatures inland mostly return to the 70s . it will be a a mix of 60s and low 70s around the bay and the very warmest spots are going to be the low 80s inland in the easty for most of next week. then after that, the warmth is probably going to build once ag. we'll keep you updated. > >> sonoma county is getting so many complaints about vacation rentals they launched a hot line line for people to report violations. this comes as santa rosa police bussed a huge party at a short term rental home. it happened at a home on flint ride drive. the gathering included 300 to 400 people. at least 100 cars, a d.j., food vendors and a a large bar. the property manager says the number of guests and cars far exceeded what is allowed under the rental rental agreement. > >> sports is coming up next. we got a terrible nfl game to show you. but it had a great finish.t for a 30-second highlight. we got that queued up ready to go., up ready to go. plus, >> kpix5's very own pilot and meteorologist jessica birch getting to the spirit of the fleet week air show. she took the stick and you can join her in a virtual reality 360-degree experience. keep an eye out on r website and our social media channels for a chance to fly with jessica. > >> now in sports, steph curry said he had a good scrimmage but but that was not what people were talking about. charlie?
