impact to . >> reporter: you might want to pick again sunday morning crossing the golden gate because the bridge will belong to runners for a few hours. >> we are encouraging people to change your plans if you are traveling northbound on sunday and if you're thinking about traveling we highly encourage you to use lyft . >> reporter: they start at midnight for the road closures. the closest to the bridge begin at 4:30 am. there will be no northbound traffic and reduced lanes southbound. this is the first time it has been done for the race and officials agree it is better to be safe than sorry. >> we have seen in the past what has happened in the uk they have been using vehicles as weapons. they are going to take all of the necessary precautions to avoid any vehicle traffic whatsoever to eliminate that part of the track . >> reporter: those attacks we have seen a broad are less likely with the closure and southbound traffic will be so backed up a card likely could not drive fast enough to do much damage. runners say this gives them the peace of mind they are going to need to tackle the race itself. >> i am scared of the hill. it is uphill all of the way to golden gate park . today and you can see definitely some coastal cloud cover. it is cooler on the beach today but definitely warmer inland current temperature right now hovering near the 60 degree mark for many locations and a little cooler in santa rosa. we will see plenty of clear skies and sunshine today although near the evening that marine later will increase and we will see more of a marine influence for tomorrow with some clouds along the coast to start. inland heat this weekend is mild to warm along the coast and the bay today with your forecast coming up in a bit. some people evacuated in minnesota county are starting to return to their homes. the detwiler fire burned since sunday. it destroyed 99 structures including 50 homes and right now it is just 25% contained. that stretched along highway 140. mariposa residence are returning to their homes. you can see now houses surrounding this fireplace and whether they were burnt down or spared the county is coming together in support. >> two people that i know that have houses left i took pictures to send in. if i had a picture of my place still standing it would make me feel better . >> reporter: firefighters are hoping to have it contained by august. instead of seeing counting crows some are counting wasted money matchbox twenty and counting crows were set to perform in the shoreline amphitheatre last night but an issue forced it to be canceled. the fans were told they could get refunds but they say that there is more to it than that. >> they're not going to refund your gas or the babysitter or your hotel. >> matchbox twenty is rescheduled to perform tuesday but counting crows will not make it. a rush of mill >> reporter: -- mail truck break-ins are happening last week in willow glen while the carriers noticed 12 teenagers by the entrance. he does not know them. there was no interaction. he said they just surrounded him in a circle and he thought they were about to rob him. >> i was trying to run away from the situation. the guy tripped me and i hit the ground . >> reporter: the teenagers kicked him in the head while he was unconscious. >> they didn't take anything. they just kicked me . >> reporter: the mayor witnessed a tail end of the attack. >> i heard a woman screaming at him and they all were running off toward the west and then i saw the last one run back and there was a man on touch of horror in the image. one of the armrests came crashing down and then i saw this slithering foot come out and then another one out of the other side. i was trying to take a picture but be undetected. >> what did we not see in the picture? >> the feet were not dirty but what you do not seeing the picture is on the left foot reached over and opened and closed the window shade. it was set to hold a hearing. seniors will soon have to pay eight times the usual price for a lifetime pass to national parks. it used to cost $10 but next month it will be $80. if you are on a fixed budget you can visit for a year and it is $20. seniors who already have a lifetime pass don't worry. it will still work. we are warmed things up today especially for folks inland with still be warm side. and that is going to help to warmed things up for us today but we will still have some of that marine influence moderating temperatures there. it will feel hot inland and mild by the bay and along the coast today. tomorrow we will see cooling. we will see a little bit more about onshore push. we will cool a bit inland still the low 90s for some of those warmest locations. along the coast it is much cooler with 60s and maybe near 70 along the beach with a few more clouds sticking around. here is a look at those high temperatures still above average for this time of the year and 88 in san jose with 71 in san francisco today. in the south bay we are mid to upper 90s and for morgan hill it is 92. along the coast 87 in redwood city with 75 in hayward. temperatures near the century mark for pittsburgh and concord is 97 and then we are in the 70s for san leandro and sausalito. up north we are looking at temperatures in the triple digits with 102 interlake. triple digits mary hot this weekend and the san francisco marathon sunday expect coastal fog for runners. here's a look at the extended forecast with triple digits for the warmest spot today and then cooling sunday with much morning i am devin fehely. >> and i julie watts. we will start with a check of their forecast. we have clear skies inland and temperatures really warming up inland and stay mild along the coast. right now temperatures are near 16 degrees right now outside. you will see those clouds with futurecast showing where cloud cover tomorrow morning to start as that marine layer indicates tooling for the second half of the weekend. coastal cloud to start the day and it is wild and warm with today the warmer the two days for your weekend. if you're heading to san francisco for the marathon it will be some pretty great weather for you. we are looking at temperatures near 57 degrees we do want to take a look at some of the traffic. the marathon is not the only thing that may slow you down and jaclyn dunn has the details. >> reporter: the san francisco marathon tomorrow but many drivers will not be driving due to many closures and the golden gate bridge will be closed from 6:00 a.m. and some 9:00 a.m.. expect delays in the southbound direction as well. there will be delays between midnight and 10:00 a.m. also many closures throughout the city, especially along the embarcadero. southbound closed from broadway to harrison and that runs between midnight and 2:45 pm. there will be some kpix closures in the subway between west portal with best bridge in place but people riding the best bridge to expect delays because the san francisco marathon runners will be crossing market street as well so was to do this weekend but do expect delays and give yourself a little extra time. sean spicer has stepped down as the press secretary and we have more. >> reporter: sean spicer quit with after wall street financier anthony scaramucci accepted the job of top communication eight. sarah attack. she have plans to escape afterward to mexico setting up social media accounts for the benefit of isis. his attorney said his client never supported any terror group. he describes the man as young and naove. it appears he allowed himself to be drawn into conversations he should've been more specific so. he is being held in oakland. they are looking for a woman suspected of stabbing in their core news employee -- a mercury news employee in the local and neighborhood. he is expected to survive after being taken to the hospital. we have no word on emotive. police are investigating animal hoarding cases in two different houses in antioch. they went to put out a kitchen fire and the second case emerged on thursday. the second house and most of those are in the shelter offering for a convenient place to get rid of trash. >> they just dump it on as. >> reporter: will be problem may be obvious, how to stop it is a matter of debate. for natasha this is simple. >> a dumpster would help. the city is trying to accommodate as but they need to bring it dumpster. the city tried that here and now it is gone. while some feel it is not enough the city says the newest budget includes $100,000. >> we hope that a larger encampment until we can resolve this that we can put in garbage cans and services for them. >> reporter: they feel if it was removed regularly it would discourage illegal tempers operating here. the city has a reward program splitting the fine but activists say it will only stop when oakland devotes some of its land for the homeless to live on. >> it is hard for people to feel like they can show up and down when we have an organized village. >> the city said it tried allowing campers to stay in a park but it did not work out well. >> things deteriorated. you need security guards and some basic rules. that would surely cost more than $100,000 but as the city ponders solutions there is this incentive. oakland currently spends $5 million a santa rosa the largest pricey sales in the last couple years. take this 44 acre estate in santa rosa complete with a pool, vineyard, six bathrooms, a 30 stall horse facility and a private lake. it is gate bridge connecting the north bay to the city. you can see the clouds started to dissipate a little bit with temperatures near 16 degrees from many locations. upper 50s for oakland and san jose with 54 in santa rosa. the satellite perspective showing high pressure with warmer temperatures and the today. it is near the century mark for the warmest locations and that is going to keep us a bit more mild but comfortable by the bay and along the coast today. tomorrow cooling inland with more of the onshore push as the marine layer deepens. temperatures will be coming down for most locations tomorrow inland and then a bit cooler at the beach tomorrow with temperatures near 70 along the coast. high temperatures today forecasted above average and near 80 near oakland. 71 is the high in san francisco. here is the upper 90s for the warmest locations in the south bay with the 80s along the peninsula and 88 in palo alto and 83 in union city. triple digits for brentwood and 94 in san ramon today. along the bay temperatures near the 80 degrees mark for places like berkeley and oakland. 70s in san francisco and triple digit in clear lake. we are going to see warmer temperatures the father and then you go with triple digits for the state fair which is still going on. much cooler in san francisco for the marathon tomorrow and expect temperatures to be in the 50s for the start of the really cool event. everybody is going to come out and we are going to try to break a record for the largest and the most rescued dogs in one location. we have to beat 250 and then we look at the guinness world record. we encourage up on to come out that is a part of the community. everything is going to local shelters and that is going to be a blast. there will be live music and a pet costume whether it is helping seniors with alzheimer's and parkinson's or leading a special dance class and me chung -- annie chung has been helping since elite 70s. her older brothers and sisters almost dashed her hopes of coming here. >> my parents said for a while maybe you should not go to summit disco. >> she eventually made it right away went to work for self-help for the elderly becoming its director in 1981. >> most of them even needed shelter or housing or food or clothing or income. >> it now helps 40,000 seniors a year in addition to serving 300,000 mills a year they also provide seniors who do not speak english housing and home care and hospice but she says it is not a handout. >> we empower the seniors to make them feel independent and dignified. >> reporter: betty and her husband have been coming to the activity center for 21 years. it is for lunch and for karaoke. >> josephine has been working alongside annie for decades. >> she is very tough. >> reporter: and for annie working with seniors reminds her of her mother who lived to be 101. >> they just teach me so much . >> reporter: for decades of serving seniors this week's award in the bay area is to annie
