tonight happened in bar near bailey road. it ended up at tower mart on willow pass road in bay point. the sheriff's department says the driver heard a pop and found his back window was shattered. there's been a strirng of shootings along highway 4 and i-80 recently, almost 30 in recent months. two more santa clara county correctional deputies have been put on administrative leave tonight. the san jose mercury news is reporting two female guards allegedly abused a female inmate at the correctional complex in milpedas. three guards are charged with murdering a mentally ill inmate, and reporter: an uber driver says this video showing him brandishing a heavy stone does not tell the whole story he says the man in the gray shirt did not make good on a promise after leaving his cellphone in the car. >> if you have a store, and somebody grab it from your store, you grab anything, you have to bring the stuff back. >> reporter: here's what led up to the confrontation. he was driving for uber last saturday, cj yu was one of his passengers. he left his phone in the car and later called benhani who agreed to return it to him. he wanted cj to return for the home, but he insisteded on paying cash. he says he did not pay up and did not pay for his ride home arch getting the phone. >> he didn't pay me for my -- for the money that he promised to give me, $40. he didn't pay me for all the ride. >> reporter: after he is seen threatening cj with the stone, he followed him off-camera, swipes the phone and bolts back to his car. cj chased after him. >> i take the phone back because i didn't get my fair ride. >> reporter: the lapd arrested him on a robbery charged. he was jailed and released. the city attorney says because of a lack of evidence it's unlikely the case will go anywhere. during our interview he insist he's made good on his promise to pay a reward for the phone. on building his museum in chicago. will the force be with the bay area after all? george
