>> it should be drier. there could be left over wet spots tomorrow morning. you can see there are patches of light and scattered showers around the bay area. i just gave you the forecast animation there. wet weather san francisco north of the golden gate and patches in the east bay. mill valley and other points 101 north experiencing some wet weather now. showers over 80 east, and a couple showers on the shower bridge south of oakland. and here is the forecast animation again. breaks in the activity but patches of showers continue to move onshore. overnight, it will taper off and the day gets off to a wet start and sunny and there may be wet spots for commuters rest over for tonight's rain. >> thank you. and when you get interesting shots take a photo and video. we might use it here on the air or online. a kayaker found dead in san francisco bay has been identified as 37-year-old phillip anderson. two companions reported him missing over the weekend. his body was found yesterday near the san mateo bridge. >> developing news in sacramento. the family of a mentally ill man was shot and killed by police are calling for a federal investigation. two officers fired 18 shots, hilting him 14 times and he was unarmed. the family attorney says the police dispatched a firing squad. >> they didn't see him as a human being. they saw him as guy. they used profanity and shot and killed him without him having a chance. he didn't didn't know. he puts hand out like this. like this. and he gets a borage of bullets. >> dash cam audio revealed the officers tried to run mann down. a child porn ring run out of san francisco is out of business tonight. police were led to two main suspects, they're accused of distributing internet child pornography to people across the state. the arrest led police to three others. these men face charges of possession of child pornography. >> these are people that maintain the child pornography of children under 10 years old. >> suspected arrested a man today suspected of sending elicit images of young children from his home computer. vic? >> well, it was a joint task force. the sheriff's office, fbi and police began a probe sometime ago. they down loaded thousands of images and video from the computer, the suspect reportedly works for a tech firm. what they saw sickened even the most experienced, seasoned investigators. >> i'm shocked. >> neighbors didn't know why law enforcement officers rushed into this home on the 1700 block of oakwood avenue. sheriff laurie smith. >> we served a search warrant on a sex predator that has been trafficking in child pornography. >> this man, dennis cruz was arrested and charged with sharing 10,000 images of children on his computer. >> these are vile images and many are infants and it's horrible, horrible. it's a terrible predator. he was in the process of down loading child pornography as we went down the door. >> neighbor michael williams has a 3-year-old charge who plays in the park across the street from where he lives. >> that is pretty amazing. i'm glad he's caught. >> we knocked on his door and an elderly woman answered and said she tonight know anything. >> is this the cru resident?
