of this month it will likely be one of the driest on record. perhaps the driest ever. when you look at san francisco we have had no measurable rain. typically you get just over 4 inches that's the average rainfall for san francisco. you look at all the other dry year even last year we had at least 6 hundredths of an inch. doesn't look like we even measure for january so it is really a sad story and we are thirsty for rain here. i can tell you it's mild outside. 60 degree ins san francisco right now. that is not a type o. most other areas are in the 50's. cloud cover is holding the temperature up. from the sutro tower cam are beautiful view of san francisco. high clouds overnight tonight. to mostly sunny tomorrow and we are going with dry and mild weather into the weekend.
