part of beach access trail collapsed. >> we love to walk the beaches and now there's no access and we're upset about that. >> pacifica residents have been watching ocean air apartment homes when it will be reopened but have gotten what some describe as a run around. cement trucks shored up some of the path to prevent further erosion, but now it's april. >> they're spending money for the property renovation, why isn't this being done? >> some tenants moved out in february when beach access wasn't restored. i called the irvine based owner called trinity property consultants. they're executive vice president said the trail will be rebuilt very similar to what it was. our construction team is submitting plans and working with the coastal commission to get approval. but the california coastal commission says that's not the case. they've only gotten preliminary draurgz so far. nancy cave told me we are getting increasingly concerned because we haven't gotten a response from the property owner in regards to timely repairs. the good weather season approaching, they say reopening the pacifica coastal access is a top priority, property owner says if they get approval the work will only the rainfall intensity, it is coming down hard in the north bay from san rafael to larks spur. i want to show you rain rates in the area. you'll notice buena vista avenue you are seeing rain. we take a look at some moderate to heavy rain around oakland, foothill boulevard heading into the el sob ran tay area. and one other stop here around pacifica, linda mar boulevard getting steady rain. south bay, it's lighter. you haven't seen as much as other parts of the bay area. almo concord, 1/2 inch. almost an inch in fair field. it's turning to snow in the mountains. this is great news for our
