Thats part of their job, quote unquote. Even in their early 20s, theyre going to come back and push back more. Theyre used to living on their own and now they come to your house and the rules we go back to the roles of being teenagers. Sometimes it doesnt matter how old you are when you come home. Even though theyre not at home, theyre in college, but kids are still under your roof, if youre still paying all the bills. Is it the right thing to keep reminding them of that or is that counterproductive . I think it is fine to remind them. I think it is great to expose them to parts of the world where there are people who dont have. Right . So whether that means doing Community Service when your child comes home from holiday, when theyre under your roof, but also it goes back to demonstrating the proper behavior. Let your kid see you say no to something or postpone your own pleasure or enjoyment or forgo a purchase. If theyre in college and asking you because they want to go to cancun for spring break and you just dont feel that they have performed well or they earned it, then you no is a very powerful word. I looked at him in disbelief, the person who took that very special picture 25 years before was divinely aligned to be seated right next to me, at the time of my greatest grief. Maybe there is a Entrepreneurship Group that can get the minority, women and Business Enterprise certification that you stopped getting because it was overwhelming, have them take it through to the end. That can help you get government contracts that can help your business but get help, be creative, go out to your community. A lot of women, not only do they go to work, but they have to pay for child care and for all of those other needs. One step forward, two steps back. One thing people said in the poll was that what they really need was time and they wanted that even from men who werent in the relationship anymore, they wanted them not for the money that they could provide, they wanted them to be involved with their childrens lives. Women like you struggle to, your job, your children and then People Like Us say, well go take a Course Online and when do i get the time to do that . It is a bit of a struggle because youre saying go get this fund and go get that and apply for this and thats all really time consuming. How does she do all that .
