crews raided an apartment and came away with potentially eskimosive chemicals. police are looking for 22-year-old ryan chamberlain. jody is live in san francisco with more. jodi? >> terry, the fbi says they uncovered explosive materials from inside the san frn apartment here. they do not know if he still has any of the same type of materials on him, but as you said, he is still considered armed and dangerous. now, take a look at the man the fbi is looking for. he is 42-year-old ryan kelly chamberlain the second. we are told he he was last seen yesterday south of san francisco driving a white 2008 nissan altima. fbi agent and hazardous materials investigators spent all day yesterday at chamberlain's apartment. they are quiet about what they found inside but said it was explosive. they have sent the material to the lab in kwan co-. according to chamberlain's social media website he worked as a social media consultant and also has experience in political campaigns. i talked to the immediate past chairman of the san francisco republican party who confirms chamberlain served on the republican central committee in san francisco before switching over to the democratic party. he said he is absolutely stunned. >> to have the explosives and all that is just totally mind boggling for me. well, i'm hoping that, you know, he turns himself in. i hope he doesn't get into any more trouble. i don't know what he's thinking. i don't know what he's been doing the last few years. what's going on in his head. but just hoping that this all comes out, that nobody gets hurt. >> if you have any sort of sightings or if you know him, please just let us know so we can help apprehend him and again, bring him in so people are safe. >> again, here's one more look at the suspect. ryan david and that he is honored and that his parents feel loved. that the bottom line. >> wang was supposed to return to the bay area on summer break in just a couple of weeks from now. and the family attack on a 9-year-old girl happened friday at lafayette elementary school in oakland. according to a district spokesperson, the little girl was beaten during recess. when the girl's teacher noticed she didn't return to class, they immediately called the security guard to search for her. they found the 9-year-old leaving the bathroom with the suspected attacker. that mother has a daughter in second grade. the girl was taken to the hospital for nonlife threatening injuries. the woman was arrested at the scene. the spokesperson said it may have started with family feud off campus. tomorrow an oakland police officer will be stationed on campus. >> out of jail on half million dollars bail after tsa agents in los angeles found a hand grenade in his luggage. this is a tsa photo of the device from the world war ii time period. gary cox told the "l.a. times" it was an honest mistake. his farther used it as a paper weight for decades. after his father's death, cox was bringing some of his father's belongs home. he said he never suspected it still had explosive capability. hundreds of passengers were delayed as the l.a. bomb squad destroyed the device. cox has been told the charges
