I would have never expected him to react like that. I would have never expected him to be that kind of cop. Reporter the Vallejo Police department issued a statement that reads in part, its important that no one make any assumptions without having all the available facts. Weve learned that the victim, a pinole man has died. Demarcus doss was targeted as he drove a honda minivan in richmond on thursday. Two teenagers and a man are being held in connection with the shooting that happened on san pablo avenue. The three suspects have yet to be charged. Chp investigators believe that one of the teenagers was the shooter and that the shooting was gang related. Since 2015 roughly 80 shootings have happened on bay area freeways, most in the east bay. An overnight high speed chase through the south bay, some of the suspects are juveniles. It began around 1 00 this morning in milpitas. They tried to pull a car over for a dui check but the driver took off leading officers on a highspeed chase. Speeds reached more than 100 miles per hour. You can see there are dozens of mattresses as well as headboards and over here couches and chairs, many of the flood victims lost everything. So all of this furniture is badly needed. Now, this morning this is a time when the flood evacuees can come to selma Olander Elementary School in san jose and pick these items up for free. Many of the victims lost everything, as i mentioned. I talked to one woman who said these donations will help her take care of her family. It will help me feed my family for the first few months. I got my table for the dining table, i got my sofa. I cannot believe it. Because we were worrying about that, where am i going to get the money to buy those things. Reporter the family is still living in the vaekation center at seven trees. Since she has nowhere to put the donations, uhaul is offering to use this truck for a month to store the items. All the furniture is free for flood evacuees. More than 200 people picked them up today and they will no longer be able to pick them up after 5 00 tonight. So theres a lastminute rush for the evacuees to come here and collect their belongings. What happens to all these things the after 5 00 . The Salvation Army is going to pick them up. Right now theyre already packing them up. We have a late day sea breeze which may try to push a few low clouds towards the coast. So what well expect is to see Cool Conditions at least for the morning hours, 40s and 50s. About the same amount of warming during the day tomorrow. Another chance of upper 70s maybe even close to 80. Coastal low clouds make a return appearance on the coast as we head towards tomorrow evening. Morning temperatures still a reminder that its march. You still need a jacket for the morning, by the afternoon upper 70s south of downtown san jose, 80 in los gatos, saratoga, cupertino close to 80 there. As we go about the bay, numbers in the mid to upper 70s at 3 00 in the afternoon around the bay including San Francisco you see those temperatures in the low 70s, then slow cooling as we go through the evening. Tuesday looks to be the warmest day of the week at least for valleys. Notice hour by hour i think well see a few low 80s, maybe even the north bay, but well begin to see the seabreeze pick up around the bay and increasing high clouds on tuesday which will set us up at least for a chance we think of seeing a few showers on wednesday. No rain right now, Storm Tracker continues to stay off to the north, but were beginning to see this High Pressure weaken just enough right there wednesday afternoon maybe into wednesday evening for the north bay. Might see a shower or two. Then thursday into friday, the high builds back, then our next chance of seeing showers, you see this system here for next sunday, its going to weaken as it crosses the bay area. All of the futurecast models less than a quarter inch in most of that north of San Francisco. So even though we will see two chances of showers wednesday and next sunday, again, rain accumulations nothing like we saw compared to the beginning of the year where we had just heavy rain nonstop moving through the bay area.
