Porter bailey was believed to be in a group of three to five suspects who may have been involved in a series of incidents that went down on pride weekend, the annual block party in the castro. Three others were arrested earlier, im told, closer to the date of the incident. Investigators say there were a series of assaults and robberies that day Near Civic Center and up to castro and they think that all of these people may be involved. The attacker ran and police right now are still looking for them h the victim was taken to the hospital with what we are being told are nonlife threatening injuries. Officers at this point do not think anybody else is at risk. And police on the peninsula right now on the lookout for a group of thieves who attacked a Security Guard before making off with thousands of dollars worth of jeans from a department store. Mountain view police, they say three women were spotted stuffing those jeans into their bags inside kohls at the san antonio shopping center. All happened about 4 30 sunday afternoon a Security Guard says one of those women person sprayed him right in the face when he tried to stop her from leaving the store. Goodwill is concerned there might have been some crosscontamination with this warehouse and other warehouse in San Francisco, where a dog there has already detected bed bugs in a small spot in the corps over this 30,000squarefoot space, treatment there scheduled for tomorrow. This bed bug scare has cost the Nonprofit Agency dearly in terms of money. As a precaution, goodwill has had to throw out so many donated goods, they could fill a tractor trailer. Thats lost revenue from items that could have been sold in their Retail Locations, money that could be going to their job training programs, basically evaporated. They have also had the expense of steam cleaning a lot of items made of cloth, since bed bugs do gave theyre kind of material. If you are not familiar with these pests, they feed on human blood which leads to bits and rashes, hens the urgency to get rid of them here.
