((denise valdez)) > bill cosby is free on bail this evening, after facing a criminal charge of sexual assault. ((paul joncich)) it's the first time the 78- year-old comedian has faced charges despite years of accusations by dozens of women who said cosby drugged and raped them. c-b-s news reporter kenneth craig is outside the courthouse in elkins park, pennsylvania with latest. bill cosby left a pennsylvania after his arraignment on charges of felony sexual assault. bail was set at one million dollars. the 78-year-old comedian is charged with aggravated indecent assault against a female employee of temple university - cosby's alma mater. "the charges stem from a sexual assault from early 2004 at mr. cosby's home." this is the first time cosby has been charged, despite years of accusations by more than 50 women. the allegations in the criminal complaint echo claims made by other accusers. "he urged her to take pills he provided and to drink wine, the effect of which rendered her unable to move or respond." the charges against cosby is a second-degree felony. if convicted, the 78-year-old could face five to ten years in prison, and a 25-thousand dollar fine. several other accusers have filed lawsuits against cosby. represents seven of them. (joseph cammarata/atto rney for cosby accusers) "if he's convicted of a similar type of conduct, it has a significant impact on the civil case." cosby has publically denied any wrongdoing, and his attorneys released a statement, saying ".we expect that mr. cosby will be exonerated by a court of law." but in court documents related to this current case, he acknowledged a series of extramarital affairs and sexual encounters. kenneth craig, cbsnews, elkins park, pennsylvania. ((denise valdez)) and demetria obilor has been there, guiding you through it all in "what's driving you crazy?" let's take a look back... at just some of the road (( )) demetria obilor: it's safe to say that a lot has been driving you crazy this year. construction has been a big one, but slow lights and potholes throughout town haven't made things any easier, but i concerns and helped fix dozens of problem all around the valley... last month, the traffic signal at tropicana avenue and hualapai way was out of whack. we investigated and found that the detection equipment wasn't working properly. fast, the division of the rtc that oversees traffic signals, fixed the problem and got things up and running. now, the left-turn light from desert inn road to cimarron had its own problems. drivers sat through cycles of nonexistent traffic, stuck at a light that never turned green. things got fixed fast after we let the county know what was going on. crews tweaked the detection equipment and left-turners got the go-ahead. forget about being late to work. what about a flat tire or a wrecked suspension from potholes? we got ndot on the job and in most cases, the hole was patched within 24 hours. speeding and school zones don't mix. at our request, metro increased enforcement at a handful of intersections. zone, for example, was a problem spot. a motor officer went out during school hours and patrolled the area. clark county also double- checked the zone to make sure the pedestrian- flashers and school zone signs were in place. hey! what's driving you crazy? send your traffic question to traffic eight at las vegas now dot com. ((denise valdez)) the so-called "affluenza teen" ethan couch and his mom may be trying to stall their deportation from mexico. the two were arrested there monday, after they went missing while couch was on probation. but u-s officials say the mother and son are now asking mexico for protection. couch avoided jail time after he killed four people while driving drunk in texas two years ago. defense attorneys argued he suffered from "affluenza"... meaning he was too spoiled by his wealthy parents to be held responsible. prosecutors say couch violated his probation and disappeared with his mother after he was seen in a video around alcohol. /// ((paul joncich)) > guns n roses may get the original band back together.. multiple sources confirmed to "billboard" g-n-r will go on and the tour is expected to make a stop... right here in las vegas. the band is reportedly scheduled to be one of the first acts to play at the new las vegas arena after it opens in april. sources also told billboard... the band will also headline coachella... and play as many as 25 football stadiums around the country in 2016. guns n' roses took rock n roll by storm in 19-87 with their debut album "appetite for destruction." the band's rapid success led to tension between the guitarist slash and singer axl rose. slash quit the band in 1996. he was on cbs this morning in may.... and hinted at the possibility of a reunion months ago.
