((chris maathuis)) good evening and welcome to this sports special... it's hard to believe the runnin' rebels only play six more games before the mountain west tourney tips off here in vegas. the rebels have shot themselves into another precarious situation having to win the league tourney again to get a sniff at the big dance. unlv is now 14- 11, 4-7 in league play... with six to go, if they win em all, they'll surpass last years' win total by two games. remember last year the rebs league play. it'll be a lofty goal to win the next six... maybe they settle for 4, tying last year's mark. because settling is something todd simon has seen to often with this team and opponents are catching on. todd simon/unlv interim head coach: "the nature of how they defended us was giving us open shots and we were falling for those open shots rather then dictate what we really wanted and when those three's are falling it looks like a million bucks, but when they're not it looks like we're flat.
