At 2 15 someone called 911 reporting a person was attacked by five or six people on Market Street and park avenue and officers found a man suffering from one stab wound and he was taken to the hospital where he died. This is the 22nd homicide in san jose this career that is less than 12 hours after another homicide in east san jose. From San Francisco six people are recovering this morning after a minivan and taxi collided and helped up on a sidewalk. It happened at 10 20 at post and jones street. Officers tried to pull over the minivan and the driver took off. They did not chase the driver who slammed into a taxi two blocks away. The impact sent the taxi into two pedestrians on the sidewalk.
