Illinois is one of only three states that have laws regulating the technology requiring an omitin. Facebook argued its tagging is fully disclosed in terms of service and users can opt out. It also tried to say California Law should apply. And face print technology is legal here now. We want to show you how you can opt out of having your name pop up when friends post pictures. So after you log in, youre going to want to go to settings. After you do settings, click on that one, time line and tagging.
