is approaching flood stage. that's the point at which we go above flood stage it starts to flood. we are getting close to below flood stage. where expected to be below 12 feet by midday on sunday. currently at 12.52 so getting close and continuing to fall. if you have not been paying attention to the weather lately or have not been thinking about we switched over to october, the first half of the month -- rather the first part of last month was on the warm side. we have had a warm september. we take this temperatures together it was almost 6 degrees above average. in cedar rapids we are 5 degrees above average. in dubuque and waterloo about 4 degrees. it was a warm month. now it feels so nice because we are close to normal for this time of year. here's what's been leading to the dreariness and the rainfall for the last few days. it will start to move out and that will allow the skies to clear from west to east as it pulls away. we will have a southerly flow return to the area and that will lead to warmer conditions and set us up for our next storm system which will arrive by the middle of the week. as it does, it will lead to there will not be a ton of moisture in the atmosphere. that will amount to half an inch area wide. right now not anticipating a heavy rainfall events in eastern iowa at this moment. that's with one low pressure system moving out. this is an excellent moving in which will lead to the chance of showers and storms. when this low pressure moves through it will lead to a dip these blues indicating cool air and maybe the coolest we will see to start the fall season. it will lead to temperatures below normal. with our around average. we will be rising to the 70s to 73 by monday. 77 close to 80 by tuesday. then we will have for showers and thunderstorms on wednesday and thursday. our producer will like this, we have 60 and 62 friday and saturday. so some cool air below normal temperatures coming up. we will see fluctuation but it looks
