for karma. stacey: polk county health officials say meat caused a sickness at roosevelt high school last month. dozen of teachers became sick following a luncheon at the school october 21st. lab tests show the meat contained a bacteria that's one of the most common sources of food illnesses in our country. the meat was purchased at a hy-vee store. hy-vee officials say the meat was prepared and properly stored at the the store. no other illnesses have been reported. charged 6 people in a human-trafficking sting, conducted at a business on tuesday. 5 people, including 43-year-old eugene garrett junior, 46-year-old mya kyaw, 21-year-old matt conner, 35-year-old belladonna guirgis, and 27-year-old sharree austin, all now face prostitution charges. the 6th person, 41-year-old daveta williams of des moines, is charged with driving while barred and possession of drug paraphernalia. in ames, police need your help finding an historic sign, stolen from the iowa state campus. university police tweeted today , "help we're looking for info , about the theft of this historical mackay hall building sign." mackay hall is part of the college of human sciences. anyone with stacey, authorities first thought that fox lake police lieutenant joe gliniewicz was gunned down chasing three suspects on foot. now, their investigation shows gliniewicz staged his suicide to look like murder. and today his supriors explained why, >> gliniewicz committed the ultimate betrayal to the citizens he served and the entire law enforcement community. the facts of his actions prove he behaved for years in a manner completely contrary to the image he portrayed. kevin: authorities say what gliniewicz did was install and laundered thousands of dollars from a youth program for as much as seven years. at least two others may have his family issued a short statement today, saying this was another day of deep sorrow. steve: before booking a hotel or trying a new product, you probably where a bill to stop that practice is up for consideration. sally: the legislation is aimed at protecting the freedom of consumers to post a review on places like amazon and yelp without being retaliated against. jen palmer and husband john were slapped with a hefty fine after posting a negative review online about a retailer which she says failed to deliver. click john got an email from -- >> john got an email from kleargear demanding that my review be removed or we'd be fined $3500 for violating the nondisparagement clause in their terms of sale and use. cynthia: non-disparagement clauses often appear in the terms of service, the small print a customer must agree to before purchasing an item or service. >> they are buried in a way that the average person is never going to understand what is being done to them. cynthia: when the palmers didn't pay up, the company reported it to the credit bureaus and their credit tanked. the couple eventually sued and won. >> this underhanded practice harms those writing reviews, those seeking transparency thru -- through other consumers' experiences, and those businesses playing by the rules. cynthia: a bipartisan senate bill would prohibit the practice. >> it's insecure companies, like bullies on a playground are insecure, who have these anti-disparagement clauses. cynthia: but at least one senator is concerned about possible impacts the legislation could have on small businesses. >> it's hard for consumers to take action, we've heard that it's difficult, lawsuits are expensive. but what about small businesses sally: senator fischer, who sits on the small business committee, says lawmakers need more input from businesses and other stakeholders before she decides whether to support it. live in washington,
