yesterday it was unveiled the much tougher immigration policy, the united states is going to start enforcing, keep in mind, donald trump didn't write these laws. these laws have been on the books. now it's just going to be easier to keep people who are not entitled to be in this country out of this country. brian: but you know he is doubling the number of border patrol agents. he is getting more ice agents out there. is he going to be deposit advertising local law enforcement to enable them and empower them to take illegals who have committed crimes and get them out of here. more importantly, he is going to do away with catch and release. he is doing exactly what he says he is doing. ainsley: everyone is really upset. if you look at the sanctuary cities. mayors in the sanctuary cities are really upset about this. 11.3 million illegal immigrants in this country. 690,000 felons. so it's not a huge percentage of the people that will be kicked out if they're caught. steve: absolutely. so while he is just doing what he said he would do you know, of the political left not surprising, they're having a meltdown. cover the new york daily news today. ice men cometh. trump orders mass deportation and federal agents push roundup in new york. i don't think either one of those is accurate. goes with this running of the bull picture right there. shows what people are doing. here in new york city there is a local councilman who says if anybody gets arrested going forward, they actually could be subject to deportation. so they have got a great plan. don't arrest anybody. if it comes to the broken windows policy. mayor de blasio. don't arrest them so they don't get fingerprinted. don't go into the federal data base. don't get deported. ainsley: in the editorial in that magazine, they say that new york and sanctuary cities have a moral and practical obligation. brian: meanwhile they went to the people of harvard, they combined with harris because harvard has so much to do there with their sports teams as well as their academic responsibilities. they said what do you think about cities arresting illegals? should they turn them over. 80% say yeah they should. 80% of 8 out of 10 harvard. support rounding up people here illegally. on top of that 77%. support comprehensive immigration reform as a whole. as a concept. which we seem to be enroute to. steve: a majority support the president's temporary travel ban which could be unveiled later today, new executive order. if you were watching mainstream media last night, it only had the critics of the president. and then at all these town halls all across the country astroturf there is profit movement going on where people are unhappy donald trump is the president of the united states. fellow in california in a town of maricopa there he is right there congressman mcclintock. his whole town contains the population is 2,000. they had 1,000 people there. do you think it was astro turf? just a little bit. ainsley: watch what happened to him while he was speaking. >> science thrives on debate. when somebody tells you. .tells you movingfrom the origif the agency to basic our basic air and water to the realm of ideological extremism where it is doing enormous damage to our economy. ainsley: boo saying no, no. steve: they are worried they might lose their healthcare. they are worried about climate change. they are angry donald trump is president of the united states. brian: keep in mind if hillary clinton was president they would be doing a massive overhaul of obamacare. donald trump is looking at this and watching humana and etna jump out of obamacare. these people showing up probably don't even have obamacare. next up though will be climate change and what we're going to do about the paris agreement and our role there. these things will only increase. i think for the most part you saw a lot of republicans expect this type of uprising and keep their composure. jim jordan kept his composure. mitch mcconnell kept his composure. congressman mcclintock kept his composure. last night tuckerrer carlson kept his composure. wearing his health. he has people on that are totally irrational and tries to rationalize with them. ainsley: his show is so funny. you can expect an argument when you watch. he had a lady on last night who is a protester with a group called refuse fascism. watch their exchange last night. >> actually it would have taken millions and millions to rise up to stop hitler it absolutely would have. and that's what people should have done and it's shameful. it is shameful for you. >> i know it's shameful. >> oh, oh, oh it's funny to you. i know you love to carry water for this criminal. this war criminal wanna be in chief. brian: really great talking and debating with somebody who is so irrational. is there anything that donald trump can do that would please this woman? i mean she is a fascist. he is worse than hitler she goes on to say and obviously open to opposing points of view. >> tucker: er was asking her a tricky question. what do you want? so what do they do? they just argued and argued. brian: i could join her organization refuse fascism. i'm for refusing fascism. steve: do you see her as a leader? brian: i do like the title because i am against fascism. ainsley: he says he is not anti-semitic and not racist. he went to the african-american museum yesterday. he says he is going to talk to some of shias these jewish community centers where there have been hundreds of threats since november. there have been 10 in the last few days. he wants to do many things about this. people say whatever is he doing is not enough. they continue with this hateful rhetoric. brian: his daughter are jewish. grandchildren are jewish. donald trump is just somebody who says why would i even give the time of day to someone who says i'm anti-semitic. the problem is in the game of politics you have got to go ahead of formality i'm anti-semitic and condemn all these incidents. steve: so you have got democrats whose hair have been on fire since november and when donald trump won. so they lost at the election box on november the 8th. and then going forward. they have watched piece by piece as donald trump has actually done what he said he would do during his campaign. and that has angered them because he is undoing a lot of what barack obama did by executive fiat. so what they are left with now is simple name-call. here is an actual member of congress talking like somebody who is actually not a member of congress. >> i just think the american people had better understand what's going on. this is a bunch of scum bags. that's what they're. >> those have r. very strong words, congressman. >> around making money. ainsley: calling donald trump scum bags? brian: his whowl cabinet. ainsley: republicans. they, wasn't specific. everyone who supports him. brian: watching the clip this morning referring to the cabinet that donald trump put together. that is totally appropriate. each caught the msnbc anchor by surprise and totally inappropriate. if that was my representative i would be so embarrassed today. ainsley: they used to be deplorables and now they are scum bags. steve: she has said things like that in the past and she returns every year. her district loves her. shows the disconnect the democratic party coastal party. california, new york, massachusetts. super lefty and then in the middle it's more in the middle and then down south it seems to be more to the conservative side. it's just the state of politics. but none the less donald trump had a really good so far has had a really good week while the mainstream. brian: had a very good week. steve: attacked left and right. his suggestion mantra on the national security council widely respected. great guy. going forward now that he has got this on paper and looks like the temporary travel ban is going to come up either today or tomorrow, a lot of people who voted for him say yep, that's why i voted for him. i feel good about that. brian: two meetings today about the budget. of course we will find what donald trump spending and what we should be cutting. two meetings today one closed door and wynn one won't be. see when he releases that. that's supposed to be the next two weeks. yesterday was your monday. janice: i wamonday.january. abby: i was in jacksonville yesterday at the diner on the beach. steve: friday catfish. steve: good to have you. abby: undercover sting stops a chilling terror plot could have been 10 times worse than boston bowing. army veteran is accused of planning a presidents' day isis attack targetin targeting n stations. built bombs and gave it to all feds posing as terrorists. hector. would be terrorists was discharged from the army for violating regulations. and just hours from now, secretary of state rex tillerson and homeland security secretary john kelly are headed to mexico. they are meeting with mexican president enrique on the border wall. trade deals all taking stage. president canceling a meeting with president trump last month over demands to pay for the border wall. and an illegal immigrant gang member recaptured by the feds after he was set free after sanctuary laws. liker's island ignoring holding he is at the very for serving disorderly conduct and long criminal record in the u.s. feds forced to intervene arresting him the same day he was released. 19-year-old from el salvador set to be deported after a judge initially ordered back in 2015. vandals strike four of the most popular monuments in washington, d.c. disturbing gravity plastered on the lincoln memorial washington monument. world war ii and d.c. memorial. message all reference the kennedy assassination and 9/11 attacks. police believe one person is behind. the handwriting all looks really similar. apparently this is illegal. steve: international monument plus the statue of liberty vandals hung a refugees welcome banner. ainsley: what is wrong with people. steve: it took four hours to take down because they were worried would hurt the statue of liberty. steve: john mccain catching heat or on this comment for trump's war with the press. >> first thing the dictators do is shut down the press. we need to learn the lessons of history. steve: trump, dictators, same paragraph? yesterday it was unveiled the much tougher immigration policy, the united states is going to start enforcing, keep in mind, donald trump didn't write these laws. these laws have been on the books. now it's just going to be easier to keep people who are not entitled to be in this country out of this country. brian: but you know he is doubling the number of border patrol agents. he is getting more ice agents out there. is he going to be deposit advertising local law enforcement to enable them and empower them to take illegals who have committed crimes and get them out of here. more importantly, he is going to do away with catch and release. he is doing exactly what he says he is doing. ainsley: everyone is really upset. if you look at the sanctuary cities. mayors in the sanctuary cities are really upset about this. 80% of 8 out of 10 harvard. support rounding up people here illegally. on top of that 77%. support comprehensive immigration reform as a whole. as a concept. which we seem to be enroute to. steve: a majority support the president's temporary travel ban which could be unveiled later today, new executive order. if you were watching mainstream media last night, it only had the critics of the president. and then at all these town halls all across the country astroturf there is profit movement going on where people are unhappy donald trump is the president of the united states. fellow in california in a town of maricopa there he is right there congressman mcclintock. his whole town contains the population is 2,000. they had 1,000 people there. do you think it was astro turf? just a little bit. ainsley: watch what happened to him while he was speaking. >> science thrives on debate. when somebody tells you. .tells you movingfrom the origif the agency to basic our basic air and water to the realm of ideological extremism where it is doing enormous damage to our economy. ainsley: boo saying no, no. steve: they are worried they might lose their healthcare. they are worried about climate change. they are angry donald trump is president of the united states. brian: keep in mind if hillary clinton was president they would be doing a massive overhaul of obamacare. donald trump is looking at this and watching humana and etna jump out of obamacare. these people showing up probably don't even have obamacare. next up though will be climate change and what we're going to do about the paris agreement and our role there. these things will only increase. i think for the most part you saw a lot of republicans expect this type of uprising and keep their composure. jim jordan kept his composure. mitch mcconnell kept his composure. congressman mcclintock kept his composure. last night tuckerrer carlson kept his composure. wearing his health. he has people on that are totally irrational and tries to rationalize with them. ainsley: his show is so funny. you can expect an argument when you watch. he had a lady on last night who is a protester with a group called refuse fascism. watch their exchange last night. >> actually it would have taken millions and millions to rise up to stop hitler it absolutely would have. and that's what people should have done and it's shameful. it is shameful for you. >> i know it's shameful. >> oh, oh, oh it's funny to you. i know you love to carry water for this criminal. this war criminal wanna be in chief. brian: really great talking and debating with somebody who is so irrational. is there anything that donald trump can do that would please this woman? i mean she is a fascist. he is worse than hitler she goes on to say and obviously open to opposing points of view. >> tucker: er was asking her a tricky question. what do you want? so what do they do? they just argued and argued. brian: i could join her organization refuse fascism. i'm for refusing fascism. steve: do you see her as a leader? brian: i do like the title because i am against fascism. ainsley: he says he is not anti-semitic and not racist. he went to the african-american museum yesterday. he says he is going to talk to some of shias these jewish community centers where there have been hundreds of threats since november. there have been 10 in the last few days. he wants to do many things about this. people say whatever is he doing is not enough. they continue with this hateful rhetoric. brian: his daughter are jewish. grandchildren are jewish. donald trump is just somebody who says why would i even give the time of day to someone who says i'm anti-semitic. the problem is in the game of politics you have got to go ahead of formality i'm anti-semitic and condemn all these incidents. steve: so you have got democrats whose hair have been on fire since november and when donald trump won. so they lost at the election box on november the 8th. and then going forward. they have watched piece by piece as donald trump has actually done what he said he would do during his campaign. and that has angered them because he is undoing a lot of what barack obama did by executive fiat. so what they are left with now is simple name-call. here is an actual member of congress talking like somebody who is actually not a member of congress. >> i just think the american people had better understand what's going on. this is a bunch of scum bags. that's what they're. >> those have r. very strong words, congressman. >> around making money. ainsley: calling donald trump scum bags? steve: the haters are going to hate. meanwhile, while the press is trying to depict donald trump's first 40 days as being a complete disarray, brian had a great interview with josh king who used to work in the clinton communication shop during the clinton years. and he says you know what?
