>> the three different possibilities. one is they walk out and decide if they can figure out a way to work together. one is they walk out and they figure out they can't work together but they are not going to work against each other. the third way is they walk out and decide in fact they are at odds. >> the "washington post" is reporting that trump's old rival will be a supporter. we don't know whether or not that will actually happen but it goes to show you all parties involved know how much is at stake at thursday's meeting. >> we will continue to follow up with the activities today. >> a lot going on today. now to a fox news alert a deadly train station attack bloody footprints cover the scene after a knife wielding man screaming allah akbar went on a ram tabling south of munich. one person dead three others wounded. the attacks are a german the motives possibly politically related. gunned down in the line of duty kansas city police mourning the loss of detective brad lancaster this morning. he was shot while responding to a suspicious person's report at a casino. that person now identified as curtis ayers took off in lancast lancaster's car. he led police on a chase before he crashed on a missouri highway. that's when he was shot and arrested. detective lancaster was an air force veteran who served two tours overseas. he's osurvived a wife and two daughters. >> he is a cold blooded killer. he will remain behind bars. he is accused of shooting and killing three people. the spree of violence outside of his daughter's high school where he shot and killed his estranged wife. he allegedly shot and killed two men while trying to steal cars. three teen girls are charged with a 15-year-old. a girl who started the fight is charged with criminal neglect homicide. and two others face lesser charges. amy died from a heart condition that was agitated by that attack. notorious drug lord el chapo guzman could be bound for brooklyn. new york is expected to be the first stop for el chapo when he is extradited next month facing murder, kidnapping and drug smuggling charges. he has been recaptured for the second time in january after escaping through an collaborate tunnel. >> to extreme weather now two people have been killed as violent storms continue to take a tole on the great plains. tornadoes raking across tdecembr tr troy /* -- destroying everything in its path. people are now left picking up the pieces. you have been following these storms very closely. >> yes, so we have been tracking the storms and we knew there would be a severe weather outbreak. yesterday we had reports anywhere from iowa to nebraska and through parts of oklahoma. where the elmore city oklahoma area we have relocated to the east where we heard there was also some damage. we will be setting up our live shot later this morning. out here there were multiple reports of tornadoes extensive damage and injuries also at least one fatality. the storms fired through the afternoon hours west of i-35 from wichita to oklahoma city and they blew up and caused tornadoes in many instances and continue to have large hail and dangerous conditions for many areas out here. we are expected to see more whenever weather. later on today we will have more damaging winds and isolated tornadoes as well. clear across oklahoma and kansas. we could be seeing additional severe weather as we head into area approximates further south across parts of texas. the storm system still on the move bringing threats to other areas. northeastern arkansas and extending north and east could be seeing additional severe weather in the form of damaging rains large hail and tornadoes. on the map i am showing we have a risk for additional tornadoes through texas eastern missouri and even as you head further north. the storm system is going to continue to bring that severe weather. it will not head into the following day with dangerous weather. >> thank you very much maria. be careful out there to everyone living out there as well. donald trump says he can beat hillary clinton on his own come november. does he need to unite the party? mercedes? >> first of all donald trump needs to realize he might not be able to unite the party. there needs to be peace made with the never trump movement which made it clear they are never going to support donald trump. with that being said here's an opportunity he is able to meet with paul ryan and they discuss where they are able to come together. i think ryan is expecting trump to say i am going to stick to these conservative principles. i understand the angst surrounding the gop base, trump can't do it alone. he has enormous support out there but he needs to make sure he is able to keep his base. that includes the gop establishment. that includes the conservatives. that group of voters right now and that leadership is not necessarily where trump needs us to be at this point and it is going to take a lot of courting from trump. >> he is apparently prepared to do that. not only is he meeting with the speaker of the house, he's meeting with the senate majority leader we have learned earlier in the day on thursday. speaker ryan now going back on his word saying he did not say he would never support him. he said he is not prepared to do that now. does that -- is that an indication that maybe there's wiggle room there? >> he is going to be their nominee. you know who the one person is who brings republicans together? it is not donald trump. it is hillary clinton. there is not many republicans who are going to talk about voting for hillary clinton. whether they automatically talk about bringing the party together or not they are requesting to vote for him or not vote at all. he brings a lot more new people to the polls verses those who can't vote for him or never trump. at the end of the day they have a self motivating factor out there and that's on my side of the isle which will be hillary or bernie sanders. >> i will stick with you. hillary is in trouble in coal country. doesn't matter. she is 1 # 55 delegates short of the number she needs. bernie 929. is there any path for bernie or is he holding on to false hope. he says he's in it until the end. >> he deserves to go to the end. he has created an amazing movement. i wore my west virginia shirt along with the coal miners to all of the mountain mamaws. they deserve an opportunity to have a choice. i am a democratic consultant. he built in movement. he raised money with regular people he has opportunity to be heard. >> $27 as the chant goes the average donation to him. what do you think about west virginia for the democrats? can he unite the party? does he need to? he is saying i don't need them anyway. >> here's news for donald trump. he's going to need them. he is going to need that base. he is going to need the grass-roots activists many of them who are delegates go out and get on the phones go door to door bring out the vote. i like to say donald trump is starting to take the right steps. meeting with speaker ryan. incredibly important. it is important in the sense that you have two men that technically really don't know each other. their conversations are happening through the media. this is an opportunity for the two standard bearers of the party to come together and let's hash out the differences. let's figure out where donald trump stands on these conservative principles. obviously ryan is looking out for his house members many are in swing districts chockwho cou lose their race. he has to protect their house members as well. this is an important moment the opportunity to see if the gop establishment could start rallying with donald trump. trump is going to need to reassure the party he is going to help out with these conservative principles. >> chuck, when you are running for the president of the united states you need all of the sport you can get. most importantly your own party. he can't get all of it there he's going to have to rely on independents even democrats. >> he didn't really need the establishment in the primary. he ran against it. i am not one to give donald trump advice he's not looking at a mexican redneck to consult him. if i would i would say it has gotten you this far. these people are not going to vote for hillary or bernie. continue to be outside of the system and invite new people into the process and i think that's his key. he's very unpopular with women. well, guess what? he's real popular with old white guys. you have to make up your losses with other people. >> that is not enough, chuck to win the presidency. you need the broader base. it is going to take making sure the establishment folks are with you, the party leaders as well as broadening your base to women voters independents minorities. we know that's the game plan on the democrat and republican side. >> especially for republicans. they favor dem gratz uncourt natalie. it does. it is a bigger challenge for donald trump. >> another question here, if sanders throws in the towel where will his supporters go? we have seen a number of folks like bernie sanders also like donald trump. will they go to him or hillary clinton? she obviously needs them. the bulk will go to hillary. i don't think me and mercedes have seen anything on either side. you will have donald trump running to the left of hillary clinton on trade and left of her even on social security. there are people who may show up for trump who are supporting bernie. i don't think they will be in big numbers. i am more about the brn knee people sitting it out and feeling like they don't have representation and that would be devastating to our party. >> mercedes, quickly? [announcer] working together, we can help your business thrive. wells fargo. together we'll go far. >> extreme weather taking a tole. at least two people are dead after tornadoes tear through oklahoma. maria mol lean nas is live. >> we have arrived in katie, oklahoma. it is a town about 45 minutes or so south of oklahoma city. it was hit hard by a tornado. we are looking at all kinds of damage. we have what appears to have been a foundation of a home. also other severe damage. trees down and power lines down. we will be bringing you the images on the television screen coming up over the next few minutes. i want to recap the entire storm. it hasn't just across oklahoma. we also saw tornadoes further north in nebraska and iowa as well dealing with tornado touchdowns. a line of storms firing up along interstate 35 all of the way from oklahoma up through kansas extending through portions of nebraska. storms firing up requesticily. there were explosives rotating across oklahoma and producing tornadoes. they continued eastward over the overnight hours. a lot of damage with large hail and strong winds with the storms. taking a look at the radar you can see it is a much quieter picture across oklahoma, kansas and even texas. as we head to later on this afternoon we anticipate another round of severe storms. this time around it will be across portions of texas. the forecast includes areas further off toward the east across missouri, northeastern arkansas and also into portions of kansas and nebraska. again looks like another round of severe weather possible damaging winds, large hail and isolated tornadoes possible. there's a closer look at the area that could be looking at tornadic activity today. it is not elevated, the threat is across these areas as it has been over the last few days. nonetheless the threat is there. we head into tomorrow another round of severe storms possible yet again. keep it right here in central oklahoma. let's head over to you in new york. >> unbelievable footage there. some of this maria and her husband have taken for us. maria, thank you for that. >> facebook under fire the social media site accused of conservative censorship. cheryl casone with how the company is responding. >> good morning, abby. the ocean media site being accused of suppressing conservative news and views. technology web site foets former contractors saying facebook depressed news stories interest to conservative readers using a program identifying stories that are trending asking these are journalists to inject certain topics into the trending list while black listing those labeled conservative. the contract toerps who asked not to be named are fearful of retribution from facebook. c pack, mitt romney or glenn beck were some of the examples that were given or issues suppressed. conservative news sources bike washington examiner breitbart and news max were named specifically by these contractors. facebook responded saying we take allegations of bias very seriously. facebook is a platform across the spectrum. there are rigorous guidelines in place for ensuring consistency and neutrality. a lot more of this guys today on fox business through out today. this is something that is creating a lot of controversy on facebook from users. >> image that, controversy on facebook. 15 minutes it will until the top of the hour. a yearbook photo outrage as a student is miss labeled as isis. was this a mistake or was it on purpose?
