>> i think they are freaking out when you see leaks about biden stepping aside, from democrats, it actually shows the degree to which they are frightened of a rematch for joe biden. he has created all of these problems whether it is on the border, the inflation crisis and what does he do, instead of staying in town to keep the government running he goes off to join striking autoworkers in michigan over a cola increase. they need that because of joe biden's inflationary policies. for him to go join with them is the height of hypocrisy. mike: here is a leading democrat in the senate on that issue. >> this could be a move in the right direction. the bottom line for the border is that chaos situation there has to end and we need to do that on a bipartisan basis. >> can there be a bipartisan solution to the border crisis? >> sure appeared when we restore remain in mexico. democrats i have talked to support restoring remain in mexico where those requesting have to wait in mexico for their request to be adjudicated. but, too many democrats, too many liberals are demanding that we legalize ns of illegals present in the united states present to get a secure border. that is a nonstarter. we want a secure border. the money we passed this week will be contingent on securing that border. we will make sure that american people are protected and money goes to protecting a ukrainians. >> i watch the white house briefings. i see her pointing the finger at congress saying the president has done all that he can. we need congress to do more on the border crisis. is that helpful in this climate?
