What were trying to do is get a vote on some riders that came from the house. We havent been able to do that yet. Theres a lot of opposition to funding the
Homeland Security
without us passing the riders. I have voted for them and will continue to coso. What were trying to do maria is reign in a run away president. A president that basically my views and others disregarded the constitution. He grabbed a lot of he grabbed a lot of power. There has to be a there has to be a check. You you oppose the bill because it fails to address the executive amnesty as you called it. Yes. Yes. I vote against it a lot of us did. We want to fund the government but at the same time we want to be heard on something we believe is important to check the president on what he is doing i believe, is unconstitutional. joins us with the angle. Good morning. Good morning everyone. They now have less than one week. Not the three weeks
Speaker Boehner
wanted. That remains in place at least for just five more days. All over the country republicans, senate and house candidates told the people if you give us a republican majority, we will stop president obamas illegal and unconstitutional amnesty. I think we need to follow through. The president s plan to give legal status to 5 million illegals. The house the
House Speaker
has to cobble together a new deal to keep the money flowing in the face of growing opposition. The 52 members of the conservative
House Freedom
caucus stood their ground. Theyre not giving up their effort to defund what they say is the president s violation of the constitution with the unlateral immigration action. After all the caulk cushion mission gives, quote, a voice to countless americans who feel that washington does not represent them. We support open, accountable and limited government and policies that promote liberty safety, and prosperity for all americans. Tomorrow the senate will weigh whether it will negotiate with the house over the immigration issue and the house could then consider a socalled clean bill this coming week. One that does not tie the
Department Funding
to immigration. And then theres this. And then theres the funding bill the funding bill that the president did sign on friday night is called the protecting volunteer firefighters and
Emergency Responders
ersers act. Who could be against that . If washington was a bit more truthful perhaps we could then really trust it. Maria . Thank you very much. Eric with the latest. Were back with more from senator
Richard Shelby
. Would you agree or sign a bill that actually separates the immigration executive order out of it, senator . Not now. I hope we will ultimately get the vote on the merits of what were trying to do that is to reign in the president s unconstitutional decrees but well see what happens this week. As i said as i said earlier, we want to fund the government. But we also believe its important to reign in this president. Let me let me move on to

trip to talk with congress this upcoming week. What do we know so far about these talks that have been going on with iran john kerry, of course resuming those talks this upcoming tuesday well we do know from briefings and other things that it seems to me that this administration is chasing a deal. Theyre desperate for theyre desperate for the deal. Some kind of deal. Thats not the way to negotiate. I believe at the end of the day it will not be whatever agreement they reach it will not be in our favor. It will be in irans favor. They will continue to pursue and ultimately get
Nuclear Weapons
. We should hang back and pass strong sanctions on these people. Its worked. It will work more. So lets talk about what you would like to see as a must have in any agreement with iran. Of course, critics of the deal including those in congress have demanded complete dismantlement of irans

Prime Minister
netanyahu this week . I think that we will hear probably different version of what the talks are about. Probably similar to what i was just alluding to. Not the rosie thing that the president is putting out, but i think we need to hear from him. You know, i think we get a different perspective. I think we need to invite him. The president doesnt want him here because hes chasing that deal, as i i said. And netanyahu is standing in the way of it and a lot of us hope to stand in the way of it. Right. Understood. And i can see why that would seem really not unreasonable to hear israels position. Let me move on to janet yellen. You were among those questions her last week when she testified in the semi annual speech to congress. What did you learn what did you learn about the
Federal Reserve
after speaking with janet yellen . Well, the chairwoman was very cautious on talking about raising
Interest Rates
and other things, which she should be. We i dont want to outguess the feds but right now inflation is basically under control. But we dont know that down the road. I think we have to i think we have to look at it what happens the federal open

in the next two or three months. You would like to see them start raising rates this year, senator . Well, i would hope we would never raise rates but sometimes so you to raise rates if inflation starts showing its head in a big way. Price stability is very important, as you well know. We should be working with our arab allies in the region. Isis is threat not only to us, the israelis, theyre a threat to the jordanians, the egyptians within the , the turks. Business Investments pick up. Are you surprised we havent seen
Consumer Spending pick up more given they have saved money at the gasoline pump. I think the trajectory has been good and auto sales are at a high level. Theres a lot of signs of good consumer trajectory. Going into this year and for this year. Im not worried about the consumers. One area were watching carefully what is happening with the housing recovery. And that data has been somewhat encouraging. Its pretty low levels. Why has it been hard for housing to gain traction in the economy . Well, you know, its funny when you ask that. House prices have recovered pretty fully. Im in the bay area and its a hot housing market. So maybe thats not representative. But house prices have but house prices have recovered quite a bit. Quite a housing construction, you know, i think theres a psychological aspect to that. A lot of people are nervous about jumping into the housing market. Let me ask you what youre let me ask you hailing from in
San Francisco. You see vibrancy. Is
San Francisco out performing the rest of the country . The
Unemployment Rate 3. 7 . What kind of activity are you seeing on the ground there . Is it as vibrant as everyone said in terms of entrepreneurialism . Absolutely. You see everywhere. You know, you see it in terms of the employment numbers. You mentioned that already. Its not just in
San Francisco. Its not just silicon valley. Its all over the bay area. Its in seattle. A lot of tech companies,
Big Companies are based in seattle. Its all along the west coast. Its an exciting time. You go to caves and everyone is sitting there and developing the next app. It is very exciting situation. Were seeing a lot of construction, a lot of vibrancy in the economy. It shows you, you know, how important innovation is for the economy, for jobs, but also i think for the
Global Economy. As you look back at janet yellen testifying on the hill. What was her main message . Unemployment come down. Employment grew rapidly on that part of our mandate. Things have gotten better. I would say we have a way to go but we made a lot of progress. Inflation is still the question mark. Inflation is below inflation is below 2 . A lot of factors holding inflation down. And the farm story. Sure. And so when we have the looking ahead, you know, obviously we expect inflation to move gradually back to 2 . Once the inflations are holding inflation down over time so its a strong economy. Its feeding into bringing the inflation back to 2 . How do the happenings in europe like greece pushing back on austerity. How does it impact the u. S. . When you ask me what keeps me up at night or the risk to the u. S. Economy . Honestly mostly abroad. About europe asia, theyre not about the u. S. Recovery which i think is on solid footing. Its looking abroad and those developments. Especially especially the agreegeopolitical issues. It impacts the u. S. Through markets or trade . You know, greece it would be a confidence issue in the youreuro area through markets. I think it would be the primary concern there. John, its good to have you on the show today. Thank you so much for joining us. John

By imposing new security measures against americans. They include restricting the activities of u. S. Diplomats, cutting down the embassy, and requiring all americans to apply for tourist visas. The socialist leader announced in the rules in response what he calls american meddling in his country. He said venezuelan authorities had to pay several americans including a pilot and allegations of espionage. The state department telling fox news its looking into that claim. And pair of american astronauts venturing out of the

That project involving an unpress debited amount of cable. About 800 feet long theyre stringing outside the space station. Its a plan to install new docking reckdock ing mechanisms preparing for commercial spaces. The doctors will be in. They join us for sunday housecall. Im eric sean. Back to sunday morning futures and maria. Thank you. It was to be an opposition protest against the war in ukraine and corruption in russia. Today it is today it is a gathering of mourners in central mousescow for boris nemtsov, president putins most outspoken political opponent. Let me bring in our panel to talk about this. Ed
Judith Miller is adjunct fellow fellow. A fox news contributor. And former world chess champion is chairman of the new york based human rights foundation. A writer and political activist who has been thrown in jail by putin. Good to good to see everybody. Thank you so much for joining us. Gary, let me gary, let me kick it off with you. Im thrilled youre here to talk about an important event that happened over the weekend. Murder in russia. How do you see . It was in 2004 and i couldnt believe i had ears when i heard the news. I was shattered. The man was full of life. He was fighting putin to the last hour of his life. He an interview 40 minutes before he was killed, and he called putin the greatest mistake of the presidency. He was about to release new report on ukraine proving that
Russian Troops participated in the aggressive actions in ukraine. So do you think that was one of the catalysts or was putin trying to take him down and kill him or get him killed for a long time . We cant prove that putin was giving an order to eliminate the critic of his regime. But the atmosphere created which was paranoia of the fear or hatred 24 7. One of those who called enemy of the state, anything could have happened. One important thing you look at the video released and people should realize its a place that has more video cameras than fort knox knox. A few hundred yards away from kremlin. We could see the snow remove track that covered the angle of the camera that could show the face of the killer. And the killer made six shots in two second. Four were deadly. It tells you qualification. The car appears outside behind the snow removal truck and the car picks up the guy and they disappear and thats it. And police theysaid they removed the traces. You you could see it moving away. Thats extraordinary. And tomorrow, judy, secretary of state john kerry is meeting with the
Russian Foreign minister to talk about regional issues the ukraine crisis. How does this event play into that . Hes going to talk about the deal in iran because russia is very important in supporting that deal. And i just cant imagine what kind of conversation theyre going have after such a brazen act like this. You know putin himself said, oh im going to lead the investigation into the death of this russian. I mean that is such it goes beyond that. I have to salute hes boris nemtsov, gary to fight against putin is an act of courage. And it shows you how determined and how tough the russian opposition to this terrible dictatorship is. Huge. Huge. And unbelievable courage and, gary, you have been on it for years and were thrown in jail. If you were there, its anyones guess. Unfortunately its not a guess anymore. Thats right. We understand what happens with any kritcritic of putins regime. St it not a democracy no matter what we want to call it. Its a ruthless man. Probably the strongest leader ive seen in my lifetime in the opposition. He wants to basically suppress his people and expand his empire. We need to understand that. We cant deal with him in a position of weakness. Does the u. S. Leadership understand . I dont think they do. And here is the richest most powerful man in the world on one side and one of the weakest president s weve ever had. I agree. And, by the way, i think his successes are the way he thinks. The successes in his foreign policy. In ukraine and the way western leaders are trying to fight a comprise. Theyre making him even more arrogant. Dont forget germany putin is a bully. Bullies only back down when theyre challenged. He doesnt think hes being challenged by the
United States or nato. He has nothing to fear. Theres clearly no challenge coming from the u. S. On this. Stay us with, everybody. We want to get a look what is coming up media buzz. Check with howard. Before we move on to u. S. Issues. Good morning to you. Good morning to you. Good morning, maria. An interview with david axelrod. Well talk about the cozy relationship with the press in the campaigns. Well look at the media bashing that took place at the c pac conference. How the press is treating some of the people that spoke to the crowd jeb bush and chris christie. And the question and the question that all of america wants an answer to. Should we take him seriously when 75 to 80 chance donald trump this time hell probably run for president. Well be there. See you in 20 minutes. I want to get the panels take on 2016 and what came out of c pac next. High level negotiations with sweeping impacts on national security. Can you guess whether im talking about netanyahu coming to washington talking about
Irans Nuclear program or the political em pass over the dhs funding. Our panel will address all the above when we look ahead on sunday morning futures. Im type e. My golden years will not just be gold plated. I had 3 different 401 k s. E trade offers rollover options and a

Search, compare, and apply at creditcards. Com. First rounds on me. Welcome welcome back. Our panel is back and our panel is back and busy week coming up for congress. Ed, judy and gary with me. What are you expecting with netanyahu . I know hes saying its not about domestic israeli politics. Its about ironan and what he thinks is a bad deal not only for valeisrael but bad for the
United States. In israel everyone talk about is talking about this as a political move to win the election. I think what netanyahu has done even though the message may be important. He could have delivered it. As he injected israel into partisan american politics. Thats a very dangerous thing to do. It might be a dangerous thing to do, ed but at the same time dont we want shouldnt we hear israels position on this . Absolute i. Where i differ with my friend judy, which i seldom do. Its an equal branch of government. Theyre entitled to bring anybody forward they want to hear from. The
American Public will hear the different viewpoints. We heard the details. This is going to be a bad, bad deal and its going to show great weakness and the president and john kerry are anxious for any deal they are willing to sell out anybody. I side with ed on this issue. I believe its the wrong platform. It it turns the issue into israeli domestic problem while were dealing with the threat from israel but its a major challenge for the
United States for the west because iran might get nuclear. And we know from cuba that, you know its very difficult. But with cuba its political. With iran, you know, theres so many military aspects i believe it should be investigated by congress and the
American Public must be aware of every detail which might present a threat to u. S. National security. Thats the point, i think. Shelby said earlier if
Iran Goes Nuclear its a gamechanger for the world. Why cant congress understand fully what is even the best case ten years its a very short lifetime. The agreement allowed to go nuclear. We dont know what the deal is yet. Lets wait and see, however, we have to point out what is netanyahus alternative with a deal with iran . What is anyones alternative to a deal with iran. Lets wait and see the deal and we can condemn it if it merits condemnation. Hes trying to make the point what hes most afraid of and most damaging to the world and israel. Im curious im curious you want to see the deal after its signed . No. I want to we . You know, they sign something and said okay read it. Ten years the administration has denied the initial reports this was going to be ten years only and after that iran would do it why . Why do they get everything they want and we dont get anything we want . Obama and kerry want a deal. Its part of their twoyear legacy deal. His task is to protect his homeland. Our task is to protect our country. If anything comes together, any agreement would have to establish verifiable limits on the
Nuclear Program and ensure that iran cannot quickly produce weapons enough usable taerl for material for a bomb. Having congress shut out of the discussion is extraordinary. Theyre not shut out of the discussion. Theres going to be lots of theres going to be lots of discussion. Its not clear that the president can make a deal that
Congress Wont have some say in. Which is what the ayatollah himself expressed concern about. I think we ought to wait and see what they come up with. There will be plenty of time to attack it and stop if its a bad deal. Because of the controversy around this trip and because the president is upset that netanyahu is coming and going directly to congress. What does it mean for the relationship between the u. S. And israel and does now israel expect that the president of the free world is not supportive or hes not been supported anyway. At the end of the day it cant be worse at the administration level. I go back to the point that congress is an equal branch of government. Most americans dont realize that. The president the president runs one element, the congress runs one element. When we come back 2016 rand paul wants the straw poll again. Again. Well ask the panel and apprise them about that and c pac and what it means for the gop in 2016. Were back with our panel. Cpac has happened and once again rand paul won the straw poll. What does it mean . He has a strong organization. 12,000 people participate. Diehard activists come to this 3,000 of them vote. He won with 25 . Its a
National Media story. Pretty darn good. I think walker had a good show. That was the surprise. How well walker did it. Equally as important this
Group Conservative libertarians has basically rejected the establishment candidates jeb bush, christie perry, others didnt do well at all. It would have been a surprise if he didnt win, rand paul, right . Absolutely. He was the only possible winner this this crowd. But what does it mean . It doesnt mean anything because the people except the base may not be excited about the person who is likely to be nominated as the republican president ial candidate if the
Republican Party is lucky because somebody who cpac wants probably cant win the national election. Youwalker did well but there was criticism over what he said. I promise you he came out of this enhanced. He has become a very serious contender. There is no frontrunner this this thing. Bush is becoming the part difference the establishment wall street. A real strong element doesnt want that. And my sense if bush is the banner carrier hell have a long hard battle here. Long hard battle with the other candidates on the gop side or long hard battle with hillary . Remember the thing that remember the thing that killed romney was he didnt relate to ordinary people. We cannot be the party of the basically wall street and be successful long term. I dont think that scott walker, a man who compares union people to isis, who behead, crucify, smash statues, that that indicates that hes quite ready for president ial prime time. Listening wayong ways to go before every woun. And you said for policy is probably the number one issue. Yes. And you said for policy is probably the number one issue. Yes. The american image in the world. Who did wrong. A rematch of 1992. And its really, really dangerous because it will lead americans in the wrong direction. And as for scott walker, he is a republican governor in a blue state. I think the state that was on the
Democratic Congress since 1984. And and what is very important, who he succeeded in pushing his agenda, which meant that he could negotiate with democrats. Thats very important for washington now to have slb who already has successful experience in dealing across the partly line. If i would have said eight weeks ago watch scott walker hell be leading all the poles, you would have chuckled at me. He has moved in eight weeks to a very significant position which will help him in fund raising. We have a long ways to go. Are some of the other guys in the race now vp candidates. Vp will be who can offer us another state. I think carla she is never been elected and had a disastrous career at hp and that became the big issue this much she laid off 30,000 workers and sent them overseas. At least she didnt compare them to isis. Still to come, the one thing to watch the week ahead. You cant predict the market. But at t.
