taliban as he puts it 100% and says god should punish gays. mateen endorses clinton and says clinton is the best choice for america. >> clinton is good for united states versus donald trump. i love united states, and i have been living here for long time. lou: so far hillary clinton and her campaign have refused to disavow mateen's endorsement. a stunning double standard. former kkk grand wizard david duke endorsed donald trump back in february. the media hounded trump for weeks, even after he had initially disavowed him asking him whether eddies avowed duke. we'll take up national liberal media bias for former reagan white house political director ed rollins. also with us tonight senior political columnist for the national journal ron and a lot to talk about tonight, including a rising number of questions about hillary clinton's health. some critics voice a concern that clinton may not be fit to fulfill the duties of the presidency. we'll be talking to two doctors about the need for the democratic nominee to be absolutely transparent about her health issues. and new satellite images showing china building aircraft hangers on the disputed islands in the south china sea that the chinese themselves built. former ambassador to the united nations john bolton will be taking that up tonight. donald trump holding a second rally of the day in the battleground state of north carolina. there he is. he's at the crowned arena in north carolina, the real clear politics establishment, by the way, showing clinton with a slim one-point lead in the very important state of north carolina. let's listen in. >> our country has been set back. the world watched that whole situation. the world has been watching, and it's very, very bad, and i'll tell you what. it speaks so badly, so badly of our country because everybody knows that she should not be running for the presidency right now. she should not be running. everybody knows that. go over a couple of -- go over a couple of the statements. we'll do it quickly because, you know, it looks -- and now they say the foundation. the foundation. well, they're not going to get that. they're not going to do anything with the foundation; right? they're looking at the foundation. give me a break. hillary clinton claims the reason for her illegal use of private insecure e-mail, totally insecure was that it was more convenient to use just one device. okay? fact. the fbi director said hillary used several devices. and numerous mobile devices, therefore it was a lie. false statement number two. we could go false statement number 30. hey, wouldn't you love to see what some of those 33,000 -- cheering. wouldn't you love to see it, though? i tell you. it's very -- honestly it's a very sad situation. very sad situation. but how do you get away with it? i assume they subpoenaed them; right? we want the e-mails. oh, well, we deleted 33,000. oh, well, that's okay. that's fine. no problem. can you imagine if somebody else did that? tell petraeus about it. false statement number two. in her testimony to congress, hillary clinton said she turned over all of her work-related e-mails. all of them. the fbi director said hillary failed to turn over several thousand work-related e-mails. including some e-mails that were classified. what's going on? what's going on? false statement number three. in her testimony to congress, hillary clinton said there was nothing marked classified on my e-mails either sent or received. now, you know that's false, and that's been proven. and i could go over page after page after page, and it won't ever change, folks,. lou: donald trump going through some of the false statements made by the former secretary of state hillary clinton. we're going to be returning to donald trump as his comments warrant. the joining us now former reagan white house political director great america strategist fox news contributor ed rollins. great to have you here. >> thank you. lou: donald trump putting straight forwardly the case that hillary clinton has lied, continues to lie, and, by the way, raises a very important point. held not accountable at all for 33,000 e-mails that were erased at her order. >> i don't dispute any of that. and i certainly legitimate thing for him. my only objection now is that he had a great economic speech, yes. lou: uh-huh. >> this whole week, he ought to be talking about his economic plan. that's where he draws the difference between her. always come back. the 33,000 e-mails, that stuff's not going away. but this speech was very, very important yesterday. and carl icahn said if you stay on the speech, you can win. the truth of the matter it takes three, four, five days to hammer this thing. that's what i would like to see. lou: ed roll inmaking a suggestion. donald trump obviously listening. let's turn to donald trump. >> this is going to -- substantially than have their taxes reduced, and we're just about the highest taxed nation in the world. that tells you what's going on. all right. hillary clinton wants to shut down energy production. she wants to fire, get rid of all the miners. she wants to get rid of all the miners. any miners in here, by the way? now, we're going to expand energy. we're going to expand all forms of energy. but we're going to expand energy; right? all right. lou: as i said donald trump listening to you, ed rollins independence issue, focusing as well on taxation, three brackets reducing corporate taxation, business taxes to 15%. these are powerful -- >> these are powerful differences between her and obama and him. and i think at the end of the day he can keep coming back to the negatives on her. and obviously -- lou: well, he moved onto the economy like you suggested. >> i wish i had that power. but that's how he's going to basically differentiate between these two campaigns, and i think that's what people want to hear. she can't get healthy. she's got 70% of the country thanks she's not honest. lou: let me ask you. you've raised that issue. 70% of the country doesn't believe that hillary clinton is honest or trustworthy according to the latest fox poll. 68%. at the same time 70% of the country, 70% of those people polled say the country's headed in the wrong direction as well. yet she has a lead in these national polls. >> well, there's more democrats. obviously the last couple of weeks were kind of rough for trump. you know, learning how to run in a presidential campaign, which she's done many, many times is a different, different ball game. the key thing in his head, and the only thing i keep providing here. he got 15 -- 13 million votes in the primary. he needsov, 65 million votes to win this thing. it's a game of addition. and so you've got every day we talked about things that bring people to your side. some of them are going to be democrat. some of them are going to be independent. but you've got to hold the republicans. and the key thing here is you have some substance, you have some policy, and talked about those things. lou: susan collins for crying out loud decided she would support donald trump. susan collins in a tough -- that you know tough situation. each of these six senators broken within, they're fighting for the lives for crying out loud. >> some are. i think the unfortunate thing is you just need to ignore them and move on. because at the end of the day, he's got to make his own case. and her home state is not what we call a -- lou: a republican -- >> a republican state. and what needs to be is the state he's in today, north carolina is very important. obviously florida, pennsylvania, ohio, some others are very, very important and that's what the focus needs to be. but i keep coming back. the economy is what people want. they want protection from isis. those are the issues that he gets great marks on. he needs to be talking about those issues. lou: and clinton, her health problems are seemingly mounting and certainly the national media, even the national liberal media is now focusing on her stumbles of having support as she climbs stairs, her lost bought as she is speaking to audiences. this is -- this looks to be deeply, deeply concerning. >> well, the legitimate issue, i'm not a doctor -- lou: well, we've got two doctors coming up here. >> i'm not going to give you amateur. but health is a very legitimate issue on a 70-year-old man or 70-year-old woman, and i think to a certain extent, she needs to come clean on it. she needs to basically demand come clean -- he's a healthy guy. we do know that about him. lou: i think his energy is unbelievable. >> i wish i had a little bit of it. but at the end of the day needs to drive that wedge. lou: all right, ed rollins, always great to have you here. >> thanks. lou: we're coming right back. we've got a lot to cover tonight. we're going to go to north carolina with more of what donald trump is talking about on the economy in particular. actually we're going to listen to just about everything he says. much more stay with us. >> donald trump going after hillary clinton and her true character. trump says clinton is just too risky. >> she lacks the temperament and the moral character to lead this country. very simple. she really does. she's a dangerous person who doesn't tell the truth. lou: mike gallagher and monica crowley join me here next. and this next video shows you why you should never play with fire. we'll show you how this arsonist plan backfired in stunning profession. a cancer diagnosis can be overwhelming and complicated. that's why at cancer treatment centers of america, every patient gets their own care manager, to coordinate every aspect of their care. it's a long journey, its very complicated and we try to help them through that. we are available 24/7. if a new symptom occurs in the middle of the night, we are there to help. the care manager coordinates all of the patient's appointments, scans, chemotherapy... the last thing any patient really needs to worry about is how am i going to get here, how is insurance going to handle this? one of the great things we do is help them manage their symptoms at home. we as care managers want to take as much stress off the patient as we can. meet the care managers at ctca. my name is mena... collette jodi vincent stacy our nurse care managers are with you every step of the way so you can focus on your fight. learn more at cancercentererer.com/caremanar appointments available now. . lou: well, we're eat up with presidential politics but there's a much watch congressional primary tonight in wisconsin. speaker paul ryan facing off against businessman paul. realizing he'll have a better chance if he embraces trump. listen to this. >> if you don't like the direction the country is going. if you don't think the economy is hitting its potential, don't just complain about it. don't just say who we're against, what we're opposed to and complain, do something about it. and that's what -- yeah, that's what donald trump says right. is we want good trade agreements. we don't want bad ones, we want good ones. lou: well, that sounds like a hallelujah moment for mr. ryan. joining me now washington times online opinion editor monica crowley, and mike gallagher, both fox news contributors. monica, i'm -- can we believe our ears? >> well, now i guess paul ryan sees that it's in his political interest and the interest of the republican party to be backing donald trump. look, for the back and forth, lou, that we've seen over many months between ryan and trump and the hand ringing and the bellyaching on ryan's party. now i think ryan sees more clearly that it's in the party's interest as well as in the country's interest to present some form of united -- because the democrats never do this, by the way. they never have the fiery squad the way the republicans do. they always either unify or at least pretend to unify. and this is something the republicans can learn well from. >> this is a big moment, lieu. it is a hallelujah moment for speaker ryan. and at the end of the day, it's smart to not fort the will of so many people. i'm so mortified at prominent republicans who have gone after trump, but i don't have the the stomach to go after ryan with the intensity that a lot of people have done. he has a good story and impressive campaign. but at the end of the day republicans have to act like republicans in a unified party, and they haven't been, and it's been -- it's been really, really shocking. . lou: well, democrats are acting like democrats. there's a mystery guest behind hillary clinton. let's go to that video, if we may. this, the father sadiq mateen, the father of the orlando terrorist as hillary clinton in the foreground there, you see him in a prime position behind the democratic nominee in kissimmee, florida as she spoke last night. monica, they has to be -- i mean this didn't happen by accident. this had to be organized, did it not? >> well, somebody on her team really dropped the ball. mr. mateen has a very distinctive look and the fact that they didn't care to recognize him is outrageous. can you imagine if this happened at a donald trump event? his candidacy would be over. mr. mateen has supported the taliban and saysalla will punish gays. her campaign was asked about it today. mrs. clinton ignored reporters questions when she was asked about it today. she needs to stand up and disassociate herself from him and everything he represents. lou: i couldn't agree with you more. but the first thing she's got to do is explain how they got. and that is a prime piece of real estate in which he was sitting. mike, i want to go to you very quickly but our good colleague and friend monica crowley has to grab a train back to new york city or is it a helicopter waiting? >> a yacht. >> a wish it were a helicopter. lou: you have a great trip, and we're going to excuse you from the proceedings temporarily. it's a suspension. not a termination, and we look to be joining you at your earliest convenience. >> thank you, lou. lou: thanks, monica. monica crowley. i'm sorry, mike. >> no, but you're on it, lou, when you pointed out where he's seated. that is prime real estate and remember, mr. mateen told local media the democratic party invited me. he was invited by the democrats. so monica was right. imagine trump being in the position of having invited the father of the -- of the most notorious mass murderer -- mass shooting in american history. i mean the critics on this are unbelievable. they're all clutching their pearls. it's a huge story. lou: i want to turn to donald trump slamming the 50 so-called national security experts, a lot of them certainly are, but he dismissed them. trump saying if we can put that up. this quote from donald trump in reaction to that gathering saying quote i am running against the washington insiders just like i did in the republican primaries. these are the people who have made the united states a mess. he then went on to thank them in his other statements for identifying themselves so the american people who is responsible for the mess that we're in. >> he's running against this -- everybody. but everybody. the media, the republican elites, the, you know -- lou: islamists. >> islamists. i mean you go down the list. i am pleased today with the latest flap that there are so many people who are suddenly interested in protecting and preserving the second amendment. that's a nice change. how impressive all of a sudden there's such support for the second amendment. you know, i was watching the top of the hour when you peeked into his north carolina rally. he stands at a podium, and he rifts. he's going to say things that aren't going to sound like a written gettysburg address. that's part of his candidacy. lou: i've got to tell you, mike, and everybody at home. i would much rather see and hear an awkward aside from donald trump than all of the prepackaged nonsense and bs that flows from the mouths of all of these professional politicians any day. any day. and i think everybody should be grateful. yes, occasionally he misspeaks. don't they all? but he does it at least being honest and forthright and talking to the american people. >> amen. you're not going to misspeak when you're reading a teleprompter and a carefully crafted speech, and it's not what he does. lou: i've got to make a confession. even with a teleprompter, i have been known to mess it up at times. >> no. lou: great to see you. >> thank you. lou: mike gallagher. be sure to vote in our poll tonight. the question is should the national liberal media insist hillary clinton disavow sadiq mateen who is sitting right behind her is as they gave her speech in kissimmee, florida last night. as she insisted in her campaign and her campaign insisted donald trump do okays. let us hear from you on twitter at lou dobbs. follow me on twitter, by the way, at lou dobbs, like me on facebook, follow me on instagram at lou dobbs tonight. links to everything at lou dobbs.com. roll the video, please, and watch as this would be arsonist. that's right. arsonist gets a bit of a taste of his own -- i'm sorry. this is -- i shouldn't. [laughter] i'm laughing because it's funny. a kentucky man tried to burn down a barbershop, instead he set himself on fire. he took off running with his leg, well, on fire. he plunged himself onto the grass. can you plunge yourself onto the congress? if it's wet grass. and police are still searching for him. you would think he would be recognizable with that one pant leg seriously burned shortly, whatever it is. anyway there's sometimes just justice. just justice in the world. up next, donald trump hammering hillary clinton's ever expanding e-mail scandal we'll be talking more about it. here it is. >> 33,000 e-mails are gone. they're gone. how do you get rid of 33,000 e-mails? who sends 33,000 e-mails? she's so guilty. she's so guilty. i think it's a tremendous in our country. lou: the clinton e-mail scandal is worsening, it is widening, and it is the subject of my commentary here next. much more straight ahead. stay with us. we'll be right back . lou: a few thoughts now on hillary clinton's ever worsening e-mail scandal, newly obtained e-mails by the republican advocacy group show a top clinton foundation official asking for favors from clinton's state department. the april 2009 e-mails reveal clinton foundation official doug ban ask aides at the state department to quote take care of an unnamed associate. responded quote we have all had him on our radar, personnel has been sending him options end quote. judicial watch says those e-mails have not been previously turned over, a separate exchange shows the foundation asking for a controversial lebanese, nigerian businessman and top donor to be put in contact with department officials. all of this coming as state department officials are trying to block a number of requests seeking president clinton's -- president bill clinton's schedule, producing only heavily redacted documents so far with the releases, according to the state department, well, they're going to be stretched out until 2018 if you can imagine that being allowed under law. no wonder the clintons resorted to a private e-mail server system. executed iranian scientist amiry was mentioned in e-mails on that very server and the lawsuit brought by families of two benghazi victims also claiming clinton quote negligently and recklessly gave up the classified location of those victims because of the server. all of this after hillary clinton had tripled down on her lies, lied about her lies, and quote short-circuited. clinton's e-mail scandal only worsens by the day, it seems. and republicans now have a responsibility to get to the bottom of it all. in honor of the public's right to know, all that has been hidden from them. our quotation of the evening on what is happening right now in washington d.c. this from abraham lincoln, who said quote what kills a skunk is the publicity it gives itself, end quote. we're coming right back. lou: more refugees are set to flood into europe and hillary clinton isn't taking any of it seriously. donald trump is. >> look at what's going on with germany. look at what's happening with germany. look at the crime. look at the problems. we have enough problems. this could be the great trojan horse. this could be. we don't know who these people are. now they're coming in through obama -- lou: former u.s. ambassador john bolton joins me next. and this little dolphin at seaworld is certainly cute. but it has a new trick for tourists hoping to get a close-up shot. we'll show you what happens when they do. next in the video. you don't want t . lou: tensions rising between turkey and the west over last month's coup attempt. praised vladimir putin as his dear friend, meeting with the russian president since turkey shot down a russian jet fighter last november. also warning european leaders that his country could allow millions of illegal immigrants and refugees to cross into the european union if turkey's demand for visa-free travel isn't met. joining me now former u.s. ambassador to the united nations, senior fellow john bolton, fox news contributor as well. john, good to see you. what's the difference between visa free travel and just simply releasing refugees and illegal immigrants into europe? because it sounds like the same thing. >> it is the same thing. and, in fact, the crisis that europe has been going through over the past year with literally millions of people transiting turkey, going into greece and then throughout europe, germany, france, the nordic countries and beyond, i think it was directly responsible for it. those people can't get from refugee camps from syria or even farther field in afghanistan across turkey unless his authorities were giving them not just a wink and a nod but if facilitating their travel. so has already used the refugees against europe and threatening to do it again. and cozying up to putin is a clear signal to the europeans that he thinks he can go in a different direction if they don't accommodate him. lou: this is a very delegate play on his part, however. syria, russia, iran, and then the multipolar spirit into the middle east and southern europe and southern asia. i mean this is getting very complicated, a delicate act for even putin. >> well, as you mentioned he wants to eliminate the tension by russia caused by the shooting down of that russian plane. he wants to stabilize the russian threat to him and the black sea. i think he's prepared to deal now in keeping assad in power. and i think he's basically saying to putin "look, i'm prepared to deal with you against the europeans if i don't get what i want, i'm getting these people out of turkey." so there's a lot at stake here. and i think in the wake of the coup and the clearer repression by clear against the political opposition across the board moving in a islamist direction, turkey is moving away from the west even more rapidly than before. a very serious point for nato and the united states. lou: i want to -- i want to show you a tape that's now becoming very important to this presidential campaign. this is hillary clinton on august 4th in las vegas. and she has just had trouble there, and i want to -- let's roll that again with the sound if we may. >> okay. here we are. okay. we'll keep talking, and we'll -- and apparently. lou: i want to ask your opinion about what just happened because the man -- a secret service agent, we have found out subsequently that he's a medical doctor who was there. apparently attending to the democratic nominee. your reaction to what you saw and whether or not it suggests that we need to know far more about her medical condition. >> well, i've never seen anything like it before. presidential candidates are confronted with hecklers and demonstrators in their audiences all the time. and quite properly we ask the secret service to do what's necessary to protect them. but i've never seen a stage manager come onto a stage like that, directing agents around if he wasn't secret service, who was he to tell these people agents clearly to move away and let the speech continue? there's something here we don't know about. and as i say, i've never seen it before to protect hillary clinton from some hecklers. there's something here we are not being told. lou: and as usual, it seems quite a bit we're not being told. but hopefully we will find out. ambassador, thanks so much. john bolton joining me us and as always, john, thanks for your insight. >> thank you, lou. lou: well, please roll the video and watch as a -- well, a cheeky dolphin. look at that. jumping out of the water, snatching the ipad as seaworld orlando right out of the woman's hand. the park gory taking a photo of the dolphin, i guess he wanted to see what he looked like. the animal reached over the side of the viewing tank with his snout and the woman fishes the ipad out of the water. the dolphin sweeping away. we are told by highly knowledgeable experts that it is highly unlikely that any video other than the one you're watching survived. ipads not taking well to dolphins and water. up next, donald trump attacking hillary clinton's decision-making. >> you know, it's one thing to make bad decisions. it's another thing to be wacky and make bad decisions. [cheers and applause] . lou: the national journals 48th says clinton needs to stop lying and wrote an article to the effect. he joins us here next to take it up. stay with us . lou: major republican donor mgm ceo harry sloan has announced he will donate to hillary clinton as many former donors who have backed candidates other than trump, served on the board of trustees at the mccain institute. said if we had a different republican candidate this year, i would proudly likely to be supporting them. joins silicon valley valley raising cash for mitt romney in 2012, helping the former secretary of state. joining but he now, senior political columnist at the national journal ron, he is the annual named associate publisher for cranes detroit business and has had a long and distinguished career at the national journal and great to have you with us, john. >> a nice way of saying old. lou: you would be surprised how many ways i've come to say that given my own regard. >> thank you. lou: i wish you all the very best. >> thank you. lou: let's turn to clinton line, the subject of your article. >> uh-huh. lou: and it is not as some might suspect from the title, i have a handed slap at hillary clinton. but one that just raises the question. why back an bother? and i found it prospective and an interesting article, and i still don't know the answer to it. >> neither do i. and what i did here was write to democrats in arguing all the advantages she has with the electoral college and the demographic advantages that a democrat has, the advantage running against a candidate as flawed as donald trump. why make this any harder than you have to? why lie? with the e-mail scandal right from the beginning, she has not been honesty about why she did. why she violated policy. about how she compromised, jeopardized u.s. secrets, and it doesn't make sense to me. it's bad politics, why lie? . lou: yeah, and it goes on. and we're also looking at these bad moments on stage or on her way to a stage or a venue where she needs support, where she loses her train of thought and stammers. it is -- it's becoming proplexing i think to many, many people as we look at this without any insight on her medical condition. we're going to take that up here on the next segment of tonight's broadcast. your thoughts. >> well, the u.s. candidates have shown us their medical records. both have given selective documents from their doctors who are basically paid to say they're healthy. what we're seeing with hillary clinton -- if you look at it -- it's really taken out of context, lou. i've stuttered three or four times. does that mean i'm having health issues? . lou: we'll go through a blow by blow accounting on it. i'll get back to you with the diagnosis. >> with her, i've seen nothing, and i'm on my toes looking for anything. i've seen nothing that has corroborated that -- that would suggest that she has health issues. we do have a party that wants to defeat her, and i respect that, who are selectively taking things out of context and trying to create a meme out there, and they have. they have people raising questions. lou: and vice versa, the democrats do the same thing. >> exactly. lou: it's just a -- >> it doesn't make it right. lou: well, it doesn't make it right, and it doesn't help -- you know, we're not expanding the borders of known public truth. >> exactly. lou: in these elections sometimes. but one of the things i'm curious about, do you think this race is decided because many have suggested this is a decided race. you think that the democrats are there? >> you know, if the election were held today, it's over. barring a significant change in the race, something we haven't seen yet, it is pretty much over. donald trump has did yo dug himself a big hole. he has to really change the nature of the race and the debates. barring something like that, he's in a very substantial hole. definitely. lou: all right. substantial hole. you and i differ on only one thing. i don't think it's even close to over. but we're going to have an opportunity to take that up. we're going to get you back here soon -- >> great -- lou: and we're going to continue the conversation. all best wishes on your new deal. >> thanks a lot. i pria tt u:ll right. o points, the s&p up a fraction, the nasdaq up 12, closing at a new record high. volume on the big board, 3.3 billion shares, productivity down for a third straight quarter. the longest losing streak in productivity since 1979. and delta today canceled another 700 flights. one day after a power outage hit its computers and its worldwide system. a reminder listen to my reports three times a day coast to coast on the salem radio network. new jersey police are searching for a suspect who beat a 62-year-old man with a crowbar because he was wearing a trump t-shirt. the incident occurred at a bloomberg, parking lot last new jersey. a man questioned him about his t-shirt, started yelling profanities and struck him with that work on bar. he has injuries to his forearm, thighs, and the suspect remains at large. up next drawing concerns about hillary clinton's health after those photos requiring assistance to climb a flight of stairs. doctors marc siegel and david join me to take that up and what is happening in the fight against the zika virus? we're coming right back. stay with us. all of that ahead lou: in our on line poll last night 54% of you responded to that poll saying establishment republicans are finally realizing that not voting for trump is a vote for hillary and texas has reported its first seek of related death, a baby girl whose mother traveled to el salvador died charlie after birth in the suburban houston hospital. florida health officials have just identified for more local cases of the zika virus in miami's winwood neighborhood, the only sign of active transmission this country. the cases bring the total number of locally transmitted cases in south florida to 21. the latest cdc numbers show 1825 zika cases in at least 46 states. joining me now to talk about seek out there rowing concerns about hillary clinton's health go center. dr. david suwannee chief of robotic surgery at lenox hill hospital both "fox news" contributors. great to have you with us. let me start dr. siegell let's deal first with the hillary clinton issue. we have looked at the number of images with events that have taken place over the course of the past year. there seems to be a row problem here. how concerned should we be and how concerned are you? >> i think we have a right to know and i think we have established a bar with john mccain in 2008 where we, i was one of the journalists that pored over 1200 journalists looking for melanoma finally pronouncing them fine. i think we change the bar that pointed now when someone is approaching 70 years old and that's both candidates we should be able to look at full health records especially in our case someone who has had several false, someone had big concussion when she couldn't see right for couple of months as someone who had a blood clot on the outside of the brain and is now on lifetime blood thinner. >> we have a right to know fully what a neurologist says about this. lou: have you seen anything whether it a bassist and she required to get up the stairs, whether it be her losing her train of thought speaking before a group, does any of that appeared to be the result of a blood clot or some other neurological problem? >> i can tell from event io screen lou. i can tell you some of that is prone to falling like a the following february where she was being helped, it someone on blood thinner site be concerned he you could hit your head so i have enough to be concerned and wanted to get more permission but i don't have a diagnosis. >> the facts are 1998 she had deep vein thrombosis and she had a blood clot so is that the a result of her traveling all over the world?
