i mean, the problem is we do have the pfizer pill. there's also the merck pill, but that's turning out to be less useful. the pfizer pill looks really, really good, really compelling, 90% reduction. there are two problems. fda has been sitting on the data, still hasn't authorized it. all of us feel like no time like the present, let's go fda. second is we don't have a ton of doses of these things. we have got to figure out how to ramp up production, get it out. these things once they become widely available, it will make a big difference. >> final question. we never seem to discuss herd immunity any longer. here's a hypothetical. if more had gotten on board at the outset when vaccines first became available and all got vaxed, or a much higher percentage got vaxed than actually did, would we be in a much different place today? >> no doubt about it. no doubt about it. we would have prevented the almost 200,000 americans who died in the delta wave. and what we also would have done is gone into this omicron wave
