Three Washington Cheesemakers Win Top Honors at Good Food Awards

LYNNWOOD, Wash., Feb. 4, 2021 /PRNewswire/ -- Three Western Washington cheesemakers recently brought home the top prize in the cheese category at the Good Food Awards. The Good Food Awards recognize three crafters per category from each region of the United States.
Award-winning cheesemakers from the Evergreen State included:
Cascadia Creamery (Trout Lake, Wash.) – Cloud Cap
Ferndale Farmstead (Ferndale, Wash.) – 2 winning cheeses: Smoky Scamorza & Fontina
"This award is a little different then past awards we have received," said Daniel Wavrin, head cheesemaker and founder of Ferndale Farmstead.
