Raphael W. Bostic is president and chief executive officer of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. He is also a voting member on the Federal Open Market Committee, the monetary policymaking body of the Federal Reserve System. Bostic has long focused on economic mobility, and would like to see the issues of economic inclusion and equality be more widely addressed. Washington Post economics correspondent Heather Long will discuss with Bostic the role the Federal Reserve can play in helping to reduce racial inequities, and what it will take for the U.S. economy to recover from the COVID-19 recession.
