The program runs from August to November every year and matches all qualified donations that members make to nonprofit charities. This year, the program matched 970 donations made to 283 organizations, which locally include the Terri Brodeur Breast Cancer Foundation, Pawcatuck Neighborhood Center and St. Vincent de Paul Place. Since the program's founding in 2016, the combined giving of the credit union and its members to charities and nonprofits in eastern Connecticut has totaled nearly $1.6 million, according to Charter Oak.
