Suspected fatal hit-and-run driver arrested Police say Davisburg man is responsible for death of a well-known downtown figure Advertisement BIRMINGHAM — More than nine months after an unknown suspect left the scene of a fatal car accident in downtown Birmingham, police have been able to track down the driver they believe to be responsible. Investigators have located the suspect vehicle and driver, Steven Fowlow, a 52-year-old man from Davisburg. Fowlow was arraigned in front of Magistrate Julie Nelson-Klein at the 48th District Court for failure to stop at the scene of an accident resulting in death. Nelson-Klein issued a $10,000 cash/surety/10% bond for Fowlow.
