LAKE PLACID — Organizers of the annual Holiday Village Stroll are working hard to make sure residents and visitors don’t have a blue Christmas this year. They haven’t canceled the 11th annual event, but it will be scaled back.
The Holiday Village Stroll this weekend — Dec. 11 to 13 — will be altered to adhere to public health restrictions in place due to the coronavirus pandemic. It will be more of a “do-it-yourself” affair rather than a community celebration.
