Jan 12, 2021 STATE COLLEGE — The Chamber of Business and Industry and the Centre County Industrial Development Corp. announced that longtime president and CEO Vern Squier will retire late this year. The timing of his departure is dependent on search outcomes. Squier will play a key role ensuring a smooth transition. A national search for his replacement is underway. Squier joined the Chamber of Business and Industry in Centre County in 2011, and worked to increase the organization’s capacity to serve chamber members, CCIDC projects/programming, and worked collaboratively with other key leaders and groups to position the broader community and region for success into the future.
