South Lake Tahoe bank robbery suspect indicted for five bank robberies

A man authorities believe is responsible for five bank robberies including one in South Lake Tahoe has been indicted by a federal grand jury. John William Boland, 38, of Mammoth Lakes, has been charged with five counts of bank robbery and two counts of attempted robbery, Acting U.S. Attorney Phillip A. Talbert announced Thursday.
