Skowhegan, Waterville and Winslow-area schools report cases of COVID-19 Waterville Schools reported cases in three different schools. School districts based in Skowhegan, Waterville and Winslow reported cases of COVID-19 late Friday afternoon. Maine School Administrative District 54 Superintendent Jon Moody notified the community in a letter regarding a case involving a Skowhegan Area Middle School staff member. Three staff members and 53 students were impacted by the case. “At this time there is no recommendation that we take additional actions beyond the quarantining of students and staff as described above,” Moody wrote. “Should anything about this situation change, or should other cases arise, we will reach out directly and post the information to the web.”
