May 12, 2021 SALT LAKE CITY – Utah head men's basketball coach Craig Smith bolsters his roster with the addition of recent NJCAA National Champion Bostyn Holt for the upcoming season.
Holt is the fifth newest member of the Runnin' Utes program, joining Gabe Madsen, David Jenkins Jr, Rollie Worster and Marco Anthony.
"We are thrilled Bostyn will be joining the Runnin' Utes basketball family," said Smith. "Bostyn is a winner. He understands winning and will do whatever it takes to win. Bostyn is also a versatile player that brings a great combination of skills and athleticism to our team."
The 6-7 forward comes to Salt Lake City after spending the past two season at Coffeyville Community College, where he helped lead the Ravens to their second national championship ever on top of winning the league title. Coffeyville finished with a 27-3 overall record and 18-2 mark in KJCCC action and also finished the year winning nine of its last 10 games – including five-straight to win the national title.
