KRQE Reporter Corey King was issued a criminal summons to magistrate court Wed. Jan. 27, 2021, on three charges of impersonating a peace officer, and two charges of reckless driving.
ROSWELL - A KRQE-TV reporter based in Roswell has been charged with three counts of impersonating a peace officer and two counts of reckless driving for incidences that occurred last year.
Corey King, 28, of the 300 block of East Lewis Street, was issued a summons Wednesday to appear in magistrate court in Chaves County on the charges, after a months-long New Mexico State Police investigation revealed several instances in which he became involved in official police business.
