Santa Claus visits Heywood before Christmas Date published: 27 December 2020 Coming to town: Santa Claus visited Heywood once again In his annual visit to Heywood, Santa Claus has been seeing which children have been naughty or nice in the run-up to Christmas. Joined by volunteers from Rotary Heywood 2020, Santa and his sleigh have made the rounds in the town, bringing smiles to people’s faces, even waving to residents of Millfield Care Home on his visit before returning to Lapland to prepare for Christmas Eve.
Mike Goldrick, of Rotary Heywood 2020, said: “We have also been round the primary schools of Heywood which has been a fantastic experience for our members, and for the schools, who welcomed us with open arms.”
