Rex Heuermann, Gilgo Beach killings suspect, to be investigated for possible ties to unsolved Atlantic City case

Rex Heuermann, the man charged in the Gilgo Beach killings in Long Island, is now being investigated for possible ties to the unsolved 'Eastbound Strangler' case outside Atlantic City, New Jersey from 2006. Four women, all sex workers, were found dead behind a motel in Egg Harbor Township. Heuermann, a 59-year-old architect, also will be investigated for links to similar killings in Las Vegas and South Carolina, authorities said.
